I’m looking for help lifting my quicksand tundra thinking about the Bilstein 5100s Leveling struts with the matching rear shocks but not sure what setting the front needs to be I have done some measurements so any pictures or advice on setting for the front would be of great help.

If you are not lifting the rear set the fronts at 2" or you can go higher and add shackle on rear. 2" on front will get you level. If you want to maintain rake then add shackle. Keep in mind that 3" on front can get more complicated when it comes to alignments.

I’m planning on running 285s so do you think I can get by ok with the Bilstein 5100s set on the middle setting if what I’ve read so far is correct and taking into consideration that my math is right there should only be about a 3/4 of and inch difference in front and rear but correct me if I’m wrong.

Shocks wont give you any rear lift

I have pretty much the same truck, 2018 TRD OR Limited in quicksand. I don't have any pictures but I will take some when I get home. I just had 5100s put on yesterday and had them set to the middle setting, which is about 1.5" lift, did nothing to the rear, just wanted to remove some of the rake. My front sits at just over 38" measured from the center of the fender well opening to the ground, and the rear is just over 39". I was at 36.5" in the front before the install. There's a slight lean on the drivers side, but it was there on the stock setup as well. The difference between the driver and passenger side is about .5", the passenger side being higher. So, if you do this, measure first, then if you are off as well, install a shim in the drivers side to correct for the lean.

I have about 1 inch difference front to back on drivers side, and about .5" on passenger side.

It drives excellent, no difference from OEM shocks, and looks better IMO. I don't plan on doing the rear because when I did my Tacoma, it introduced a bit of shake at certain speeds. The Tundra may be different, but that was my experience. As far as fitting bigger tires, I'm not sure. I'm sticking with stock tires until these wear out, then maybe going up 1 size.

Hope this helps you. I'm new to this site, and I see you are too, so Welcome!

I did mine at highest setting in front and after about 6 months I added the 1 inch rear block and have all four 5100s

    Update to my earlier post:

Here's a picture of mine before the 5100s and after.

I have no plans to do anything else to the suspension, maybe better tires down the road but I like the stock rims and it rides so damn nice the way it is.

I may go with 275/70 R18, which is one size up, however, the stock tires and size don't bother me. I could go a little big than that but not really feeling it. Good luck in whatever you do, hope my post was of some help.

Sorry, I don't really know anyone personally that has this setup, however, I think that there are quite a few on this forum that have just the front on 5100s and have bigger than stock tires. As long as you don't go wider than stock, I think you'd be OK with a taller tire, but I would do some searching here and see who else is running those size with a front 5100 lift.

285/65/18 will fit without a lift. Ran ko2’s with that size of tire for almost 2 years.

I like the OEM from Toyota. all depends the style or the purpose. mine are use as a step for people to get in, plus if you live in snow
area. the boards that hang down a couple inches from the body you can keep the snow from building up and also the running''
boards that are flush to the bottom of your sills are small, and difficult to use when stepping up to get in the truck. good luck
    and enjoy new sliders
