Hey All, just ordered my Bilstein lift 5100 all around. I think ive decided to go with 285-60-20 size for my tires. Hoping there will be no issues.

My question is. Does anybody have any experience with the Ridge Grappler? Love the looks but need a good all around tire. I currently run K02’s and the have scalloped at 60000kms

Scalloping is not good. Good be shocks or some other front end component. I had an a F150 and it was lower ball joints.

Talking to a lot of ppl and Toyota mechanics they say a lot of people put on the K02’s and its a common problem with them

I took the KO2's off my truck at 8,200 miles because i had one fail and they liked to throw rocks all over the side of the truck. I went with the ridge grapplers in 295/55R20 and could not be happier. I have 20,000 miles on them now. No road noise, tough/aggressive looking 10ply side wall, they don't catch all the small rocks on the gravel roads and throw them all over the side of the truck, good grip in the rain, perfect combination of street and offroad. I think you'll like them.

I have the Ridge Grapplers in 275/70/18, and I like them a lot. I've only got about 3,500 miles on them though, so not much review.

ridge grapplers are awesome. I went with 295/55/20 and I have about 18000 miles on them. as others have said, aggressive looks, low road noise, great handling.... I couldn't be happier with them. with the way they are wearing, I should get about 65000 miles out of them.

I have 275/70/18 Ridge Grapplers with a 3/1. Have around 6k on them and loving them so far. No issues. Tracks great, no vibration, nice and quiet on the highway.

Awesome! Thanks for all the feedback it makes me more sure of my decision to go with the RG’s. I agree my tire rotation schedule was slack for the K02’s and when i install the 5100’s and RG’s i will have an alignment done then to make sure all is well too. Great Forum glad to be a part of it!

I'm rather fond of mine, have them in 295/70R18. They're a little louder than the BFG AT's (not KO2's) I had on previously, but not obnoxiously so. Haven't had them in deep snow or ice, or in mud, but they handled wet roads pretty well at highway speeds the one time I've had them in it.

I didn't have any issues at all on ice and snow. Great traction on snow, slush and ice.

I started with 40 psi, but the ride was way too harsh and jittery so I went down to 35 psi. the harsher ride was probably in part to the lower side wall of the tire size that I chose.

I took my 295/70/18 ridge grapplers off at 14,000 miles. Loud and with still a ton of tread were very slick in the rain. Changed to Dick Cepek fun country. We'll see how they do. By the way I still have the ridge grapplers if anyone is interested.

My mpg before the tires was 14.5. I went on a camping trip which was roughly 200 miles with roof top tent, three dogs, and camping gear. I was 14.5 when i got home. That's really the only driving ive done so far with them.

I just put 275/70/18 RG's on my 2012 CM and lost 1 mpg,. I went from 12.4 tom11.4. I live in the burbs of Chicago so most of my driving is in town.

I did add Bilstein 5100 all around. The fronts are on the middle setting with 1 CB shim on the drivers side.
