Matt needs to do pinstripe mod again. At least it’s free. Not much labor too.

Glad you found something and can start making it your own, but can imagine it's a tough transition. That sucks about the valuation, at least they worked with you a little. Ran into the same problem when my 2002tii BMW got totaled, they kept trying to value it as a standard 2002 and I eventually got them to use a different type of blue book valuation -- not sure what it was called exactly but it was essentially a blue book designed for collectible/rare vehicles. I'm sure the challenge with the Pros is that they are being valued at resale for rarity but are still so new that there isn't a long term valuation difference for them to base things off of. Now I'm curious to call my insurance and see how they are valuing my truck.

Keep me posted if I can help you with any mods and will keep an eye out for stuff. Nice that you can at least get the skids and sliders. Budbuilt got back to me about their 38 gallon skid -- apparently it's also flat and suffers from low hanging nut syndrome but they will weld on ramps to the leading edge for you if you want.

Or it's the most expensive mod... :anonymous:

Depends on if you go Stage 1 or Stage 42.

Oh man sorry to hear and see the destruction of your pro! Main thing is your OK. Good luck on your re-build, there are too many choices out there! If I recall, SCS should be getting a container soon

I went and rescued my sliders and custom fuel skid. The sliders could use some love, so I'm going to call a local powdercoat shop to see what they will charge to strip and recoat.
    One last time.

SCS put me on the notification list for the next shipment. If I can find a good deal, I might go with Method NV instead.

I'm not going to, but if anyone is interested let me know and I can give you the name of where I think it is going to be auctioned off.

Do you know of a good powdercoat shop around here? I found one that looked promising on yelp, but would rather have a direct recommendation.

I had to drive to Sunnyvale today which meant I was on the road before the sun was up. Wow, the '18 headlights are incredible compared to the '17. I can actually see in the dark now.

The 2018 LED headlights are so much better. I was shocked how much better I could see at night once I installed them on my truck.

    Today was an expensive day:
    MCM 3.0 Mid Travel Kit
    RCI Skids
Color Matched Grill and Mirror Caps
SCS Ray10's (still waiting for the invoice on these)

Thanks to the BASTRDS for helping me make some difficult decisions.

Very nice!, sometimes a do over is good. I like my 18 more every day, lots of improvements(tire pressure is nice for me). I’m removing my front cement bumper corners this week(painted oe chrome), they are not perfect but nice with just 2 little chips that are under the lip that goes up behind the valance. I can’t imagine any issue with my replacements(just black plastic ones), if so, and interested, they are yours for the ride.

And I think the 18’s have tire pressures displayed on the dash. I want that.
