I saw your vid on youtube. Curious to know your exact setup/configuration (if you don't mind)? I wasn't sure what you meant by "fakemufflers". However, I'm in Cali (where mufflers are required) so are they just shells?

Sorry for the delay in response! Yes it essentially just a “shell” to give the appearance that mufflers are there when you look at the exhaust. But in fact there are no mufflers at all!

Tough decision, I like the sound of the 6" but think it might be too loud for early morning start ups etc.

Also feel like the guys that went 8" want more volume. Keith do you make a 7" haha

He does but you should call him to make sure. A few guys have it. When I first installed my 6 inch it seemed a little loud on start ups in the morning. I don’t know if I’ve gotten used to it or it’s mellowed out but it doesn’t seem ridiculous at all. And I’ve heard it will quiet down a little more with a resonator installed. He makes the Helmholtz resonator.

I had the same concerns, but honestly, the 6” isn’t loud unless you’re flooring it. I live close proximity to my neighbor and it’s not loud enough to bother them. Also, regular cruising / pulling out of drive is pretty dang close to stock sound.
