Nice, we have almost the same set up. I went for different Fuel wheels. Just added the 18 headlights last week.

It sucks. Re-geared with 4.88's, but really it needs 5.29's or something closer to them.

It sucks even with the 4.88s? Damn I just put 37s on mine, I’m picking it up tomorrow. Was going to wait 6 months to put 4.88s in since the 5.29 thing seems like a myth

4.88's definitely helped, I gained back right at ~1mpg and it doesn't hunt as bad for a gear, but I'm in south Louisiana, so it's all flat ground here. Just still doesn't have the same power as stock. My best explanation is 4.88's on 37's feels close to, if not just a bit better than a buddies with 35's and stock gears.

Then that would be perfectly fine with me, I’ve been driving around with 35s on stock gears for a year now and I have no complaints. Plenty of power, never hunts for gears. It will downshift on a hill but it seems completely normal to me, I have no complaints. So the 4.88s should do me well but if they have 5.29s by January I will go that route. Thank you for the info and amazing truck man, i love it

Without towing it isn't bad. You'll survive longer than 6 months. :D
