My trusty 1997 T-100 served me well for 195,000 miles, and it was time. So I picked up a new-to-me 2008 Tundra DC 5.7L with all of 55,000 miles on it right here in CO...

Best truck in the world! I wonder when the seat belts will stop retracting:) Even the wife and kids like it. All the cars on the road look so puny now. Nobody messes with me, I like that. It came with a few extras that I need to sell (20" Wheels, Tires, Sub Woofer and Amp) so check out the classifieds in a bit. Also, I know I am hopelessly out of style, but I prefer chrome to black. Sooooo, this front grille...

If anyone out there locally (Denver/Boulder) wants to swap theirs with the chrome border and black insert with this one that is all black let me know via PM. This all black one is a candidate for color match too I think. Thanks!

Are you sure it's not plastidipped? Kinda looks like it is. If so, there might be chrome under there. Like finding original hardwood floors under linoleum in your house.

Not plasti-dip, gray plastic underneath where a couple of chips are, no chrome. Matches the black bumper part beneath it exactly.

Anyone got a pic of the stock under rear seat storage? Mine has a subwoofer/amp back there and it seems like there was originally some other kind of storage enclosure...
