    Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone can please clear up this issue for me. I have a 2014 Double Cab with Manual Driver seat and Bench seating up front. I see vendors selling seat covers that has a distinction between Manual versus Power Driver Seat and calls them "buckets"

Does anyone know if the front passenger and driver seat covers are truly interchangeable with the ones labeled "power seats"? TIA

Here's what I found out and hope that this may help someone else searching about this in the future. The front drivers seat are basically the same foam core; however there is a wire pass through required on the power seats that is not found in the manual version. So if one purchases a manual driver leather seat cover for a power driver seat, they would need to cut a slit in the leather to allow for wire pass through. The slit will be hidden in the plastic cover so the cut does not need to look pretty.

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
I don't know this to be 100% true bc I've not ever seen the two types side by side in person.
But...I had a seller/installer tell me before that the "bucket" seats of the driver/pass on the front bench style are slightly different sizes than the bucket seats of the driver/pass with center console.

IMO, Depending on what you're wanting to do, i.e. add aftermarket leather...I'd make sure its the exact fit parts.

I installed Katzkins leather seat covers in a 2007 Dodge p/u I once owned and LOVED the quality and look of the leather. So much nicer than the OEM at that time.
