I have a question that I can't figure out, so why not ask the "Pro's."

So I have noticed that some have a SR5 badge on the rear doors and mine doesn't. I thought that maybe it was stopped for 2018 but then I see them on 2018's.
So I have a 2018, double cab TRD Sport. Did they not put them on Sports? I see the TRD Off Roads have them.

Just wondering and hoping for a answer.
    Thanks.

Haven't seen any TRD sports with the SR5 badge, kind of like how they delete the 4x4 tailgate badge with TRD

I believe as long as you have the SR5 trim you will have the emblem.

The Sport and Pro are their own trim level I believe so they won't have the SR5 logo.

    I think...

Sr5 if not mistaken is the lower models If yours is TRD that's higher than SR5 that's to my understanding

I’ve got a 17 SR5 TRD off road. It’s got the emblem on cab and the TRD sticker on bed.

You can have an SR5 with the TRD package, which is what I have. No such thing as a TRD Pro or TRD Sport SR5 though.

The TRD Sport isn’t a trim level....it’s just a package you get with the sr5. It will come with a TRD Sport sticker on the bed.

Yes, I was just wondering why the Sport doesn't have it but the Off Road does. My console lid says SR5. Just a silly weird question I had .

    Thanks for all the replies.

He has the SR5. I am wondering if he is second owner and previous owner took off. All the SR5's that I aware of come with the emblem on the door. No matter what package it has with or without the truck.

But he has the sport model. The sport model does not have the external sr5 badge. It had sport graphics, color matched front and rear trim and fake hood scoop. 35B1C8A8-3439-4C7F-9424-9517C4BFD234.jpg

TIL. Cool. I thought TRD sport was the equilivant of the TRD pro for 18. So would be a SR5. Also, no where on what you linked said the side door SR5 emblem was taken off. But could be like I didn't get the 4x4 on the tailgate cause I have TRD package. Thanks for the knowledge.

No 2018 TRD Pro, the cosmetic giveaway is the indented bed stamp. Comes back in the 2019 model, Fox suspension, Rigid fogs, possibly blacked out LED, new rims, and brand new Pro grille among other features.

Makes sense now. Didn't know. I know the Pro is different than the sport. But no pro for 18, yes back for 19. I assumed and didn't look at the sport. Assumed it was a model not a package. Ya know, a replacement for the pro. Still don't understand taking the SR5 off for the sport package. I get the 4x4 with the TRD OR being taken off, it's off road it has 4x4. must be taken off for sportier look plus way to tell what has what by just looking I guess.

When I see an SR5 badge, it probably has cloth seats, no sunroof, and no TRD components unless they were added afterward. Nothing wrong with that, fully capable truck.

SR5 is a trim level, TRD is a package

    Trim levels:
    SR5
    Limited
    Platinum
    TRD Pro

    Packages:
    TRD off road
    TRD sport
    etc...

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
Basically correct...just a few edits and additions...

    Trim levels:
    SR5
    Limited
    Platinum
    1794

    Packages:
    TRD off-road
    TRD sport
    TSS off-road
    XP
    XSP-X
    etc...

I would agree that the TRD Pro is considered a trim package simply due to the stamped bed-sides. I would otherwise consider it a package.
The wheels, shocks, intake, exhaust...all part of that package. For example, I've seen TRD Pros with cloth or leather seats. I think most Limiteds, and all Platinums come with leather...And all the 1794's come with the SE brown leather.

All said, no matter the trim or package, there's plenty of mods to make your truck your own and more BA each week, month and year. Of course this site has plenty of ideas to help you spend some money!
