So my mom was in town visiting last week and she wanted to see the new truck. When she came out to look she had a glass of red wine in her hand and spilled it on the passenger seat. I was able to get most of the stain out but you could still see that something was spilled. Needless to say I wasn't happy but it was my mom so what could I say.

Mom felt bad and said that she wanted to pay to have new seat covers put in and she asked if I had ever thought about putting leather in. I said I had but it was expensive and her daughter in-law wouldn't approve that purchase. She then said she didn't care she was going to pay for it. I immediately went on katzkins website submitted a request for a quote and had them installed on Tuesday.

here is a crappy pic but they look really nice and I am happy with how it turned out. If anyone in the DFW area is considering this PM me. The guy that did if for me is an authorized Katzkin installer and was several hundred cheaper than anyone else.

Nice! That's on my list now that I had one toddler crawling in and out on his own, and one on the way.

That came out great. The Katzkin product is really nice, they have a good reputation with upholsters too which says a lot. I did this in my old tacoma, the quote i got locally was around $1000 for the install (labor only, front seats only). i took on the job myself with Katzkin kit, while not particularly difficult, it was laborious and very time consuming. To get perfect, wrinkle free, results like yours i think requires someone with experience in the trade. Came out great, looks factory.

I wouldn't let my mom pay for something like that. It looks nice though.
