I am looking at buying a extended warranty- Route 66. My daughter boyfriend has this Warranty and it covers everything, the rubber boots were wore out and leaking grease and there was a oil leak. The dealer came back and said the cam shaft towers seals were leaking, policy covered all of it. Only had to pay the extras upload_2018-5-3_1-50-10.jpg

I have this extended warranty, have not had to use it on my Tundra. I did use it when I owned my previous vehicle.

I was always worried that aftermarket warranties were nothing but a scam to make you feel like you are covered when something goes wrong with your vehicle but when it's time to make a claim they deny it on some technicality.Route 66 warranties seem to be legit. If I was in the market for one I would probably go with Route 66.They are available at my local credit union.

The catch with it is if something needs to be repaired you call it in not the shop, so if you notice a oil leak. You call it in, if the shop finds it and turns it in then they don’t want to cover it. He has used it for a oil leak, replaced radiator, and now the cam tower seals. And a rental car. All paid by Route 66. He has bumper to bumper warranty.
I can only get the drive train coverage on my truck because it has a rebuilt title. (Only damage was bumper and tailgate).
