Lemme know how you like that clay mit. I bought it but haven't used it yet pending summer.

I haven't used the iron remover yet, but would be great for the brake dust that all vehicles collect, but show most on white. The detail spray is a great, quick detailer. Like you took the truck around the city and just want to clean it off a bit or in-between washes.

From the videos I watched the clay mitt is great for saving time but not a full replacement of the clay bar. Clay bars take more time but they remove almost all the impurities. The clay mitt removes around 90-95%. So it’s great for in between washes. I also bought the detail spray to use with the clay mitt. I’ll let you know soon.

Don't spill the iron remover on yourself; you might lose some muscle :muscleflexing:

Watch Adams polishes video on the iron remover. It’s cool to see how it turns all the iron impurities purple. Even new vehicle have iron on the paint. I didn’t know that until I watching their tutorial video.

I can, but I'm not sure there's enough Tundras.com guys to justify it. They work pretty close with us.

I'll be using carpro iron x and blackfire clay mitt whenever I get a chance to decon. I'm sure the Adam's is as good or better.

Haven’t used the iron remover, I use iron x. I imagine they are similar.
I’ve used the detail spray, but didn’t care for it. Not bad, but there are better options, imo. Maguairs mirror black is great, or you can mix ech20 and reload to make a detail spray that blows the rest out of the water.
I’ve been using nanoskin and polyshave blocks in place of claying. They both seem to work very well. Curious to see how the mitt works out.

I used a clay bar on my truck about one month ago and did a three stage wax. So this week I was going to do a good wash first and removal any debri and dirt. Rinse it off and then apply the detail spray and use the clay mitt. I was going to re apply my three stage waxing process afterwards. Thoughts?

I've been using Adam's products exclusively for 2 years plus, IMO they cant be beat. 110% money back guarantee and customer service that is second to none. If you call customer service a human employee answers the phone. They will even talk you through what you are trying to accomplish.

As for the clay mitt, after you already have clayed and 3 step wax to me that would be pointless, you would be stripping your wax off of your truck. That product is not intended for regular washing. And yes the iron remover works awesome just follow the directions for your usage application.

    @SouthBoundSteve @War Machine

Yesterday I washed and detailed truck and tried the iron remover for the first time. I did like the final results. My paint has a very smooth and clean feel to it afterwards. Since my truck is black I didn’t notice the iron particles turning purple like the white car in Adam’s Polish video demo. I used the auto pump sprayer for the iron remover. It made the application process super easy and quick.

I haven’t actually used Iron X or any type of clay yet on my own truck. I figured since it’s less than a year old, it wouldn’t be necessary yet. I may try it out on a couple of panels to see if the purple shows up on the black paint.
I’ve done it on several other vehicles and it makes a huge difference. My wife’s 2012 Sequoia looked like it was bleeding when I used Iron X. Works great on older wheels also.

I ordered two of those sprayers. One regular and one foaming sprayer. Can’t wait to try them out. The foaming one will be mostly for Mother’s Tire and Wheel cleaner. I bought a gallon jug of it, but it doesn’t work as well in a regular sprayer. It needs to foam up to be effective.

I’m going to attempt using Cquartz coating on mine soon. I’ll have to do the Decon first. I bet it’s gonna make the black paint look incredible.

I did a three stage wax about a six weeks ago. So yesterday I didn’t use the clay mitt. I just used Adam’s detail spray after I finished washing & using the iron remover. I do plan to re-clean and re-apply wax after all my new parts and rack are installed. But there is rain in the forecast for next week. So rain x application today.

Does the Adams version stink as bad as the Carpro Iron X? That stuff is pretty foul.

We'd end up like the boys on King of the Hill standing in the alley drinking beer, but instead of admiring the yard we'd be admiring our trucks. Yup

What are y’all using to clean the tires before applying the wax addict? I’ve been using armoral tire cleaner and a tire brush. I scrub the tires twice (2nd time concentrating on the side bite) but after they air dry I still have the brown ring in the side bite of the stick Michelin’s. Anybody use a better product or technique to make sure they are clean? I’m about to get some wax addict for the first time and don’t want to waste it if I’m not getting the tire clean.

I’ve been using Bleche-Wite for years. Spray it on let, scrub with a coarse bristle brush and rinse off. It’s crazing how much dirt will come off your tires. 70458AEB-802B-4A3D-AFF7-9A29D4D1A1E9.jpg

This is what I use: This stuff works very well for me. Usually no scrubbing required, unless it’s pretty bad. Only problem is it doesn’t go far.

i think adam's does a great job in making all their stuff smell good. there's been one or two of their limited edition 'flavors' that i could have done without over the years. from here on out, i'll be making sure to give those to @T-Rex266...
