Buy a motorcycle jack. I got a cheapie from harbor freight to install an Expedition One front bumper. There’s no way that more people would have been able to support and position the bumper better than the jack. Worth $70? Yup.

Great idea. Work smarter not harder.

And I didn’t need to ask any favors, buy anyone else beer, or work around anyone else’s schedule! I was amazed at how easy it was to use.

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
I used a lift table that I bough from Harbor Freight for the same task. Honestly it has been the most useful piece of equipment I have ever purchased. Countless applications including, unloading and moving furniture, holding up and lowering the gas tank for fuel pump replacement, holding up the brush guard for install, to name a few.

Great idea for the motorcycle jack to help with the bumper install.
Can you post a side shot of your truck? I want to see the bumper from the side.
