I purchased the traxxas stampede 4x4 brushed motor and my son said it was boring by himself so I then purchased slash by traxxas then he said he wanted his faster so we put brushless motor........then we got hooked on doing upgrades and I sold the slash and purchased the Emaxx that thing is a beast

 

Mmmmmm nice trucks fellas. I used to have a nitro truck, you guys are giving me the itch. What's the go to RC truck these days? Brief Google search showing a bunch of EMaxx, eRevo, Stampedes!

0, but my parts guy at the dealership has over 20. Big, small, gas, electric. All sorts. It's his life/passion. I've never seen a guy so into R/C cars in my life. Damn good parts guy too.

 

My bad, I meant model of truck. Did some light reading, the EMaxx and ERevo both look insane. Wild how far RC has come in the past 15 years.

 

Tamiya and Axial are my favs. Traxxas good starter ones.

My Emaxx is to fast with 6s mode I need to buy some 4s batteries so it's more controllable

I had the traxxas slash and lifted the truck i should have done the same as your and bought the tundra shell and have it lifted

 

Ok, you have to share details of the build now! I’m already on proline’s website and Amazon looking for a good deal on a traxxas slash. What platform did you build yours on? Traxxas is great. I have a Nitro Revo 3.3 and a 1/8 ERevo that is insanely fast!!

 

Wow. What do i need to buy for something like this? Is it battery powered or nitro?

 

My Tundra Traxxas Slash 4x4 Brushless. 65+. It’s broken 90% of the time. Too much power for the plastic pieces. Lol
