So I have a 2002 tundra SR5 4X4 with 128,000 miles. Love the truck, but I'm having an issue with the rear tires wearing abnormally. By that I mean the inside shoulder of the tire looks good, while the outside shoulder is bald. I've replaced both rear shocks. Replaced both rear bearings, bearing retainers, snap rings, inside wheel seal, and outside wheel seal. Leaf springs look good to me (nothing cracked or broken). I measured from the center of the axle to the rear leaf spring shackle bolt and the axle is "square". Just getting frustrated because I don't want to replace rear tires again.

Did you ever get a answer or figure out your problem?

Could be the type of tires on the truck that are the problem. I remember the Toy factory original tires lasted me 20k before becoming dangerous. Went to Dunlop for another 20k and those were just as crappy. They balded in golf ball sized spots in certain areas of the flat part of the tread. Switched to Michelin LTX MS A/T and got carefree 70k miles before buying another new similar set. All factory suspension here.
