What difference does it make which branch you or I or anybody else was/is. The important thing is we did or still are serving and are all part of the Armed Forces, no rivalry needed.

There are things you can do to test if there is a constant draw.

Only if I’m sitting in it. I get out and it’ll stay for weeks without starting it. If I sit in the driveway... 20-25 minutes easy

    Coming from gm:

Lack of auto headlights (on the tundra I purchased anyway).

Lack of a locking rear diff.

    Lack of auto 4wd.

Sucks not having these three, but nearly everything else is better.

Auto 4x4 is the best thing chev/ gm has to offer. Love that feature in the work truck.
A locking diff would be nice.

Speed sensors! I was trying to get up a sandy rocky hill and boom! A lot of lights came on, no big deal turn off the truck and they’ll be gone but when they first came on it freaked me out

You can just wire a switch to the DRL's. That is what I did. I utilized the drl delete mod thread and instead of just cutting the wire I hooked a switch in there. Easy day

Yesterday I sent emails to Toyota on the drivers side grab handle (others have them) and the fact that the gauges are hard to read with sunglasses on or in low light conditions like cloudy days. Can't wait to see response on the grab handle. I listed all of the ideas from this forum as to why Tundras no longer have one.

Mine sounds like a damn tambourine on the inside. I'd hate to image all the rattles there would be if it had a real stereo.

No trailer brake controller with tow package. No heated steering wheel in highest trim level. Terribly small glove box. Should use the same seats from the Platinum Sequoia in the Limited DC. The high idle on start that seems to last forever on the 5.7.

As far as I know I haven't driven another vehicle with the air injection system like the 5.7 has, I noticed when starting it up that the sound significantly reduces at a point but when when watching the tach at this point the RPM's remain the same. While I think the RPM's may remain high for 10-20 seconds depending on temperature (higher for longer if lower temp) most of the sound in my understanding is the air injection compared to just the regular engine noise.

This is just from my observation, I don't know for sure if that's what what is actually happening.

My average MPG is 16.4. I usually drive 65-70 MPH. 36 miles each way to work. What are you guys getting on your MPG? Does anyone know what the other manufacturers are really getting?

Mine is at 14.9 mpg. I drive 20 miles one way to work, but it is basically town, quite a few red lights.

CrewMax here, my biggest gripe is that the rear seats don't fold down. That's alot of wasted space. I had a Tacoma before and I took the plastic trays out behind the rear seats. I had all kinds of stuff back there, tow straps, tools, med kit, firearms.

I know for the 2nd gens there was a way to get them to fold down with a little cutting.
I wonder if there could be something fabbed up for this. Would be nice.
Ive got a moving blanket stuffed back there and man is it hard to get it in there

No true diff locker, over priced for what you get, still has 6 speed auto where many others have 8–9 speed transmissions

'18 SR5, seat cushions are a bit firm for my butt, you'd think with the weight I'm putting on them it would loosen up some but not yet. Can't say anything is a huge disappointment.

This particular mod is just for the two outlets in the dash below the AC/heater controls. Not sure where the relays are for the other connectors.
