Not gonna do what alot of FB experts do and tell you what I paid when you are talking different trim levels and what not but I feel I should say to try to get better price on the 2017. I bought a 1 year old truck (really 8 months) 2016 in 2017 with 8k miles and paid $9600 less than the first guy. Seems like with 40k miles you should get a little better from new price.

One of the reasons that Toyota is so popular is that they hold their value so well.Ideally,as most of the replies so far suggest it would be better to get a great deal on a new 2018 which is only a few thousand more than a CPO.

Thanks Tom. I am almost ready to pull the trigger on either a CPO or a new 2018. I took a deposit on the truck I am selling (2008 Silverado Duramax) yesterday.I should have the remainder of the funds available by the end of the week.Going to check out the 2016 in person tomorrow. Will keep this thread updated.

Yessir. I am originally from the Ottawa area. Where in VT are you. I have a customer in Colchester, so I have been up to Burlington a few times. I love that town. The food and beer are off the hook.

Great choice! I keep seeing people mention the grade of the leather on the Platinum vs the Limited, but not the actual seat comfort. I have been shopping Tundras lately and when i sat in them side by side (hopped out of 2018 platinum, into a 2018 limited, then back to the platinum) and the difference in the comfort of the seats was remarkable. On here i see some people complain about seat comfort and after looking a bit more carefully the complainers seem to have limiteds. Sr5 crew and Platinum crew both usually respond with how comfortable their seats are. Just confirming that i feel you made a great choice. Enjoy the new ride!
