A lady who works at a local restaurant bashed my truck with the gate from a dumpster shed while I was inside eating. She finally fessed up after the owner and I grilled her about it after watching the surveillance video. Owner of the restaurant has offered to pay for the repair. Cant really tell from the picture, but it left a pretty nice crease. Also got the mirror, but nothing permanent there.20180424_171847.jpg

Damn man that sucks. Not a good night for us MGM. Didn't get my wheels tonight because they ordered the wrong ones. Hopefully you get it fixed soon.

I have to admit though...that is pretty awesome that the owner is willing to step up and pay for it.

Such a shame you had to pry it out of her. People are becoming less and less honest it seems.

Ugh man. That blows. Even though it can be fixed it still doesn’t make it feel any better. Good luck

Damn your lucky that he offered to pay for the damages, but that doesn’t make it better for sure.

Shit happens, and at least your getting taken care of. I bet she was fired after you left. I have never been that lucky. I’ve been left with significant damage 3 times.

Similar thing happened to mine. My wife drove my truck last summer to her work, and somebody hit it in the parking lot. Nobody was there when she got to work, and nobody was beside her when she went to leave. Magically, there was a nice scratch/dent/scrape about 3 inches long right before the drivers side front headlight. Someone pulled in, knew they hit it, and then moved somewhere else. Really pissed me off, but nothing I could do about it.

Fortunately I found one of the "auto paint pens" from advance auto that was actually my same paint code. I bought it and touched it up. Still looks bad, but much better now that the metal is the same color as the rest of the truck and not just bare.
