Well it's a beautiful place to live. Lived there my entire life with the exception of the past 4 years. Bought a house and moved closer to work to cut the commute in half, but I'm still technically in El Paso county about as north as you can get.

Seems a little stiffer than the TRD shocks, but I've only put 100 miles on it. I'm going to double check the front ride height tomorrow because I think it's sitting a bit high in front. Removing a bit of preload should soften it up a bit.

I finally got those GOD DAMNED chrome door handles swapped so she's looking good now. Here are some pics from the hills above Sparks, NV

I tested the flex a bit for fun and there is very little in the front (likely due to the sway bar). Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of the right front, but it basically doesn't move. The rear did well though!

    IMG_4199.jpg

I even had a rather cute helper to clean up the mess.

Did you have any issues with the dual exhaust and the leaf springs after you did the shackles? I noticed mine were touching when I had the wheels off but I don't think I'll have enough droop to have a problem....

4x4 ball joint press tool will be your friend when you do this. They will flex inward quite a bit before they will begin to actually come out. I actually thought I was damaging them when I changed mine out, but it takes a good amount of force to press them out.

I've seen that technique before. I also have a 20 ton press in my shop that I could use, but would need to pull the springs to use that.

Yea the press would certainly get them out haha I don't have one and was able to get them out just having the truck on jack stands.

Thanks for those pics.Still struggling with what type of lift to do on my Plat.I'm beginning to understand that going the cheap route (spacers) might lead to some regret.Wondering if the Toytech/Eibach might be a good compromise.

I feel ya. I have a LRO 3/1 spacer lift still sitting in my garage. Decided to do it "right" the first time and be done with it.

Does this affect, in any way the factory warranty?
