    Hello Folks,

    DouggieB from Oregon in the mid-Willamette Valley here. Love my Tundra. I got it used but man a smokin deal on a stock 2008 Limited with only 49Kmiles on it...So far I've done the Bilstein 5100's front and rear (top setting up front) with CB shims (1 set). Waitng to get new UCA's and add another shim. Plus 1.5 inch Toytec Shackles in the rear.

    Plus put on some Method NV305's 17x8.5's with 315/70R17 Cooper Discoverer STT Pro's. This introduced the famous Body mount rub issue to which I successfully did the Body Mount Chop and welded on some plates quite nicely and now I've good 1.5-2" of space at full crank(Sure eases the mind knowing I'm not chomping my new shoes). I was going to have someone do it but the charge was about $80 for labor so I figured I'd run on down to good ol Harbor freight and pick me up a nice 125Amp Flux Core Welder for $99(came with all i needed) I Hadn't welded since shop in H.S. and I did pretty dam good.. kinda proud of myself for that.

    Now that I have the welder all kinds of "Fabricating" ideas are popping in my head, cause I'm a nerd like that.

    I'm planning on doing some fun Forestry road runs this summer and add stuff as I Go. Mild/medium difficulty at first till I get more upgrades and such (recovery shiz, etc).

    I've been reading some of the fantastic stuff you guys have been doing and seems like a pretty sweet Community and grateful for all the amazing Contributions. Y'all seem like the Motley Crew I'd hang with easily.

    Future Mods include: UCA's, Pre-Runner Front & rear Bumpers with Winch capability(winch too), Gonna fab a bed rack and Rock Sliders. Long Tube Manifold, Fab my cat's and Looking at the DD guys for Muffler and dump tubes. Then gonna go get me a 4.88 diff. upgrade rear for sure but could use coaching for what to put up front. Then the various accouterments (rotopax, shovel, Overland tent, etc.). I'm thinking seriously of an offset Swing-out spare tire rack for the rear(So I can still use my Rear Camera).

    Hobbies include, Tundras (well now), Rugby, Guns, Seeegarrs(Cigars), whiskey and vino and the Genral Out doors.

    Anyway, thanks for letting me be a part of this fun group of derelicts (I'm one of em for sure).
