    Thanks for all of your replies. this is a very friendly site since i am new at this. My Tundra comes with off road Bilstein shocks that might help with the weight on the hitch. When you say that you had the trailer lifted, exactly what does that mean. is a heavy duty sway bar needed

    Think we need a bit more information behind this? Were you responding to someone or just saying this in general? Was lifting a trailer written by someone that you saw on here?

    Thanks CSUVIPER. What yo have shown me above the in the different kinds of lifts now makes sense. I have a lot to learn but what i should really do is take a picture of the lifts that are already installed on my Tundra. As I mentioned, the Bilstein Shocks that are on the truck seem to give it quite a bit of extra clearance.
    Are you in Bloomfield? I live down the road from you in Erie, and am a native from here.
