So....I have been doing a lot of research on RTT’s. I have come to the conclusion that I will go with our vendor KB VOODOO for the 10” rack. But that limits me to the size of Tent because I have a Crewmax. Is anyone running a 3+ person tent with a lower profile rack? Is the overhang a problem? Or do I need to get the taller one so it will overhang over the cab? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I’m looking at the CVT - Mt. Denali and the Mt. Rainier

I have a 3p Autana. No overhang in any position off the bed.

I’m right where I need to be
    Vehicle:
    Voluptuous Whitey
    No overhang
    No need to
    Not high profile
    Not overpriced
    Not too high up
Not an issue other than weight restricting me from managing the tent myself to get on/off the truck. The rack is fine, it’s the tent that is a beast

I don’t think the tall racks clear the cab, so height might not be as critical. Hanging out the back regardless. I had mine at full height(above cab), looked silly, so it got cut down to 18”. 3 person Kukenam Sky, takes up the whole bed if dropped down in.

Why is your tent mounted toward the passenger side, with unused rack space on the driver's side? In that first pic, it looks like its listing to the passenger side. Please tell me why you mounted it like that (benefits?), and if that weigh pulls your truck to the right?

Also, what rack is that? I love that it's low. Any mounting points for toys (Maxtracks; shovel; jack; etc.)?

You usually offset the mounting to make it easier to mount the annex room to the tent. My tent was centered on my rack and I just shifted it for my Utah trip to make it easier to mount the annex
