    so lately I been wanted to personalize my truck a bit more. Started looking into bed side decals. Thanks to @Eclipsed & Floating he introduced me to Matt @DecalsByDesign

    Matt has been a pleasure to deal with. I wanted something subtle. He helped design it by creating this side graphic decal. He’s very easy to communicate with and is always available. Onced finalized he shipped the decals out via UPS with the quickness.

    I received it few days ago and decided to go to town on it today.

    I have never installed any vinyl bigger than the bedside TRD sticker so I was nervous doing it. But Matt was very confident I could do it because he uses high quality 3M film that is easy to apply. Boy was he right! It was actually easier installing this huge decal than the small bedside TRD sticker I bought off of eBay! I had some bubbles I couldn’t get out on those bedside decals and I had no bubbles/creases on these. It’s some sort of air release vinyl that you install dry. Matt can chime in if I’m missing any information.

    I wanted matte black at first but we ended with this.

    These were the tools I used. Plus a heat gun.

    Mocking it up straight and even takes the longest. The first one took me about 30 minutes just because I was nervous. Second side took 15 minutes.

    I highly recommend Matt @DecalsByDesign if you want any custom decals. Even better if you in Colorado and he can install it himself!

    Got the idea from the 80’s Toyota trucks with the stickers down the side. With a twist of course.
