@BlueBottle Hey Mike, I bought some Platinum headlights. What's required to get the DRL to work? Is there a driver or do I just need to provide a hot?

Are you positive it is $3.49 for 10? It says each, but also says package quantity 10

 

It better be 10. I think "ea." package contains 10.

 

Yeah just need to make it hot but you need the plug , wires and pins to wire anything up to that plug. It’s the square plug on the headlight. White is ground, purple is park and red is drl high.

Awesome! Thanks Mike. I've already got an add a fuse hot for the retro's DRL so just need the plug. I'm a bit pissed that the DRL is failing so badly on my retros, looks like crap. So I'm planning to put some D2 4.0s in the Platinum headlights.

What do ya need help with? You can rent any equipment you need and have fun operating it. I've done, and do, a l lot of landscaping so, if you have any questions holler.

 

The rose garden is going to be next to my widened driveway. While renting a backhoe sounds like the most fun I could ever have, I'm going to hire someone to do the excavation and cement. Probably need a retaining wall also.

 

Still haven't got bed rails but it's on my soon list. And if the ones that came it's the Water Port are no bueno, I'll jump on a < $10 alternative. What size T-nuts fit?

 

Those are cool! I don't have any need for any right now though.

 

I've seen people trying to charge as much as $24 for a PAIR of these nuts. This is by far the best price I've seen. In the past I've made my own and it's labor intensive. The link is for 7/8" x 9/16" 3/8" bolt. These will work in our rails and are the same size as the water port plastic nuts except for the bolt diameter. You'll need to increase hole diameter on the WP mounting bracket and use a 3/8 bolt. Water Port uses 5/16" bolts.

 

These are good to have. You may choose to mount dust lights to your rails so the guy behind you can see you off road. You may also want to mount a shovel, high lift jack, max trax, etc. etc.....

 

Which one do I need to mount max track & quick fists?

 

Just ordered 10 at that price. If 100 do show up I’ll have a lot of spare nuts
