Hello, I just acquired a 2011 Tundra Crewmax Texas Edition and it has a BakFlip Fibermax tonneau cover. In the bed, along the sides is some sort of track system. Can anyone identify what it is? I don't even know what to do with it. Also, if anyone here has a BakFlip, do they come off easily if you want to temporarily remove them?image.jpg

That is the OEM bed rail system used for strapping stuff down to the bed. It's a great thing Toyota does. Yours have been moved down to allow the bed cover. If you don't want it, it's pretty easy to remove.

Thanks! After poating the thread I ended up finding the system online. Pretty cool. Now if I can just find a place that makes a clamping system for tools/guns with it, I'll be all set. I like the BakFlip a lot, but plan on having my dogs back there sometimes, so will want to remove it temporarily.
