Ok guys, I'm getting one of these tanks with or without a group buy. If there's enough interest, I'll put in the call to TF to see if they are willing to do a group buy.

However, please be realistic. These tanks are $1179 MSRP + Shipping (about $150-$350 depending on location). You guys all know the ballpark discount on GB's. They is no way you're going to get the tank for under $1000 shipped on a GB. I'd prefer to not see 12 people say "I'm interested," I go through the hoops, and nobody commit but myself.

    Details/Specs:

Please note, California residents are unfortunately out of luck because of CARB requirements. So unless you have a friend in a neighboring state and are willing to work something out with them, no soup for you.

I am interested, yet won't be purchasing. Don't have the ability to get it for another year.

count me 'interested'. Towing distances and going only 200 miles per tank makes me wishful for that extra 20 gallon cushion

@gosolo @Paulskie @PlatPro @15TRDPro you guys all expressed interest in the failed GB thread. Still of interest?
Please note the realistic comment in the OP above.

Coming from the 26g in the 15 to the 46g is awesome, needless to say, I gave up on the GB a while back.
    Good luck with pricing.
I did get a 100$ discount code by calling and asking.

Looks like I'll be calling for just @Relentless and me. Maybe they'll wheel and deal on sending two to the same location :spy:

There was no real interest for a GB. I ended up calling and ordering two tanks (one for me and one for @Relentless) and got about $250 off after shipping.

And for those on the fence and does long distance hauls in their truck, this tank is worth gold. I just got back from a 1500 mile round trip towing across the middle of nowhere NV and AZ where gas stops are 100 miles apart and it was a worry free event with the larger tank. Reno to Las Vegas on a tank with 1/4 left, then Vegas to Flagstaff AZ area with a 1/3 still. And dont forget this thing is nearly double the size of stock so when I'm at 1/4 with this tank it would be equivalent to just under 1/2 tank with the stock one.

What kind of pricing does a shop charge to install that tank?

No idea. It's not hard, just time consuming.
