And look - something you’ve heard of but never seen - an Acklands Grainger vehicle.

Wow they do exist up there

That's my service vehicle, are you with Grainger? They bought Acklands in 97. I'm taking some of their brass out Thursday for site tours.

Thanks again for the nice welcome all y'all.

    Welcome from AZ.
Same with me, had a Tacoma but moved up to a Tundra this year, and to pull my travel trailer also.
    Old guys rule!

I used to be with Grainger - I was a Market Manager in CT and got hit in the big layoff at the start of 2016.

    I still miss The company.

I was asked to go to Canada after I got laid off for two months to train the Acklands team in SAP but was told it wouldn’t extend or assist me with another position so I said forget it.

SAP was such a huge improvement for us. We were using an ancient DOS program. Glad I don't have to deal with it at point of sale though. Feel for those boys. I take it you landed on your feet.

I landed well - the company I am with now has a lot of Leaders from Grainger.

We were at the managers meeting in Chicago in February and I ran into more than a few people I knew. It almost felt like home.

After two years I’m still down a lot of $$ overall... but making it back slowly.

That SAP request ticked me off.

I can imagine. Grainger has made a huge amount of change to our business up here so I'm waiting to see the dust settle. Starting with SAP we've gone through a fairly tumultuous time.
