i just recently got this truck 09 Dc 4x4 5spd auto 4.7 with a lot of miles on it (131K) from a local small privately owned used car STEALER

im getting a "shudder" from the driveline around 30-45 MPH and the specifics seem to match up with a tundra TSB that covers the 07-08 trucks with a 6Spd and 5.7L

yes i know i have a diff trans and diff engine

has this "flex lockup" malfunctioning torque converter been used on other tundras? or is there any other common issues known to the 4.7/5spd driveline that could explain this ??

    any help is appreciated

I would check to be sure either your front or rear drive shaft U-joint is not going out on you. Grab the drive shaft and rotate it back and forth. If there is any movement or clunking sound, the U-joint is toast.
