35s really only gain you an inch of extra clearance. Even less when aired down. 33/10.5s apply more contact pressure which is critical for rockcrawling. The KM2s are also fairly quiet for a M/T.

Anybody from San Diego (near or south of the 52) going to T2S... OR commuting up to the 210/ 15 area of Riverside Co. on 4/26? If so, please message me so I can ask you about carrying some lightweight equipment (delivery). Thanks!

    K. Let me get my plan going, to see what I can do so I know what to ask if you can do, then I'll PM you. Would involve me bringing you an item to deliver, and maybe bring me back another item. Both reasonably sized (and that you could check out, to see if you want...).

    Cold as shit lol
It was fun and all but I'm glad to be home.

No disrespect to the eastcoast, but I've traveled a lot and normally I fall in love with other places to the point I'd consider moving there, and let's just say i have no desire to live in the eastcoast lol

We are leaving at 3am Wednesday morning, towing a trailer, and I have a 4 y/o (my wife is joining as well). We will be moving slowly (the speed limitish) probably making a stop in Arizona so a guy from another forum can checkout our trailer and for breakfast (hoping around 8-9). We are hoping to hit Sedona around 2 pm. We might have a Tacoma following us (If he can off of work) You are more than welcome to follow and join us, but we will not be making time and will be probably making frequent stops for potty breaks. But that being said it was a great time last year, my wife had a great time and was planning for thus years trip before I was. You should go it was fun and started our obsession with offloading. You can make it as easy or hard as you want there are groups for every level. I'll probably stick with the 4x2 trails (esp if my tacoma buddy comes with us) I'm a beginner off-roader and looking to have a fun easy time and maybe just push it a bit. Tell your wife it's a great time and there are a bunch of women there too.

I so much wish I were going this year! I'd totally follow y'all out, and get a neighboring camp spot.

I can vouch for the Grendel team: whether or not you want to pace yourself to accommodate a 4 year old learning to love camping (this is the way to do it; lots of breaks so everyone is comfortable), definitely meet up when you're at T2S. This is a great family to know. If your wife's not sure, I can assure you knowing this family is going, she'll meet great people (and probably have a wonderful time!) Dang, I'm sad to miss this!!

I wish I could have made it this year too! NYC drained my wallet. Next year I think we should try to get a SoCal group to represent. I'll X3 for @Grendel! He's a good guy and his family is awesome :headbang:. I disagree with him being a rookie. He's our T2S veteren

If anyone is interested, I'll be running Dishpan Springs 3N34 on 5/12/18. Sliders, 33s, and at least one locker required. Let's go play on the Devil's Slide!

ALERT!!!: This run is cancelled! My buddy got word of a family function that day. So run is rescheduled to 5/5. Drinko de Mayo! IMG_0440.jpg

Uh-oh! Da sniper is in SoCal. What's up, Geno? You ready to hit some dirt? (If so, the BASTRDs on the NorCal BS thread actually do it. He we mostly plan to to do it. ;))

Yup, we totally should! We could race carts in Miramar, or do bowling. I'm not a bowler, but it's a fun way to drink beer, hang around, and tease each other-- and easier to chat and get to know each other than racing.

After we get through the niceties phase, we could do paintball!

Oh, I dunno; I think maybe you get up to... shenanigans once in a while.

Yup! Same nights you work I think, front of the week mostly. I haven't checked into our favourite Graveyarders bar in several months though-- are you all settled and happy in your new local driving gig, and is the girlfriend a keeper?

It's definitely possible! You can follow us as far as you can. At that point you can turn around and backtrack or take a shot at the bypass.

@BestGen I don't think I am yet ready for Dishpan springs, but definitely game to hit some 4x4 trails and hopefully soon will be comfortable with the truck and ready for some harder stuff

Oh I beg to differ! You look ready to me! Let's do this. Get Danny to ditch Calico and come run this.
