Sir - my Nova was also known as the POS among my friends. it had 4 doors, one which was green, the rest of the car was blue. Oh, how far we have come from those youthful days of running down the road to ruin...

LOL! A friend had a Dodge Dart, 1960-something, with steel carpeting, i.e. none. It even had a 5" hole in the driver's floorboard so he could see the road go by as he drove. Cars today don't have these nice features we grew up with.

You made a comment about your wife thinking you had a girlfriend on this site, my wife says I have a mistress (my Tundra) because I spend so much time in it.

Also my toy sits in the back yard, I always say some day I will finish it (but don’t want to think of all the tickets) a 1966 Dodge Charger w/ a 383 BB with a 4 speed.

Sweet project. Growing up my father had 68 or 69 Plymouth Runner with the 383, he had bought new. Other than 411 posi, maybe a bigger carb. stock but was a beast. We dusted lots of others at red lights, Beast Mode full time.
Car was driven 13-14 years, body rusted around the motor. When sold motor was still strong but you needed current Tetanus shot to get close to it......

I'm looking forward to giving this a try. With only 700 miles on the odometer, I think I should wait awhile.

New member here with an '08 Sequoia. I joined over here to participate in the 2018 Sequoia OEM LED Headlight thread to keep up with what's going on with this mod. Prices are still too ridiculous for my budget, so I'll be patiently waiting for '18 Sequoia owners to start crashing their vehicles so I can rip the headlights out and install them on mine. :D

Anyway, I ran across this thread and decided to try Beast Mode today, and it works! I didn't really run up against any "contenders" today at traffic lights, but I'll be ready now if I feel the need for it in the future. I've read where some Tundra owners are breaking the rear end loose, but that didn't happen for me...yet! Trust me: I WILL try until I succeed. :headbang:

The PO (original owner) installed the TRD CAI on this truck, and I'm eager to at least get a Corsa catback system installed sometime in the near future. I'd also like to change out the headers for some that are better for performance...and of course, add a supercharger to the mix. My bank robberies will need to be perfected so as not to get caught between/after all mods are complete.

I tried this in my 2015 Tundra 1794 now sure if is good this is on my engine/ transmission, but there is a big chance in instant power really sweet. The one time I decide to get on it and spin the tires, come out of the movies and fine a screw in my tread.

Only difference is I believe you only have 4:10 gears instead of the 4:30 that the tundra 5.7 has.

Good stuff for a new member. I've used Tow/Haul when pulling my trailer but am anxious to try it in Beast Mode now!

    Great thread!

I always shut off nannies off-road. Never thought of mixing in The t/h mode but makes perfect sense.

On a side note for off-roading, I have turned atrac back on in 4lo and had it free me from some nasty mud holes when nannies-off-right-foot-down back and forth just wouldn’t get me loose. Which seems counter-intuitive but it has worked consistently. Whenever friends ask how I finally got the truck to free itself I just say ‘Toyota magic!’

Tho I wonder if t/h would have given me more wheel speed to clean the tires more effectively...

That’s it, need to go off-road asap and try to get stuck...

What a difference! It's actually startling how much difference it makes. Especially after 20,000 miles with out using it!

Haven't tried this yet, can't wait to go out in my Tundra this morning...I see only Pale_Horse has mentioned off roading in T/H mode, I've been using T/H mode all along off road and WHAT a difference it makes!!! Not sure if all the nannies off while off roading makes a diff but I'll sure get it a try.

Imagine the Burnout with "Stocks" AND a Supercharger ?
    PURE HEAVEN !!!!

I used up my Stock set of 60,000 mile tires in about 15,000 Miles.

Imagine being on the Freeway and deciding to Pass a Raptor going 70mph and breaking the Tires Loose at 70 Mph...
    Pure Heaven !!!

It took the Raptor 50 miles to catch up.

Imagine the look on his face trying to figure out what the @#$#%@ just happened...
    Pure Heaven !!!

Why did I just find out about this right after I deploy? First thing I'm doing when I go back to visit my family is try out "Beast Mode".

Depends 5.3 or 6.2? Only higher trim GMs are available with 6.2 so if LT it probably does not count.

    Not nearly enough room here!
Doesn't sound dumb at all, you're among friends here. Should be like my 2010 SR5. Press and hold Trac Contol Button till light comes on ( 3 seconds or so) and stays on. Let-off button and press it again and hold to light second Icon on dash.
