    Hi All,

I have a 6.5 foot bed WITH an OEM Bed Liner. I'm looking for a rubber bed mat that would fit in the truck bed.

I bought a Westin but had to return it because it was too big. It didn't fit because the bed liner was taking up some of the space and I would have to trim it down to fit. The websites I'm looking at don't tell me if they will fit with or without a liner.

    Any recommendations are appreciated!

The Toyota rubber bed mat seemed like the best option when I bought my truck. It fits perfectly (standard bed) and was within $10 of the aftermarket mats with the parts coupon that I received when I bought my truck. At the time, I had a hard time finding any vendors who had a bed mat in stock that would fit without trimming. I don't like cutting rubber matting; it's a PITA and the cut is never really straight.

I've been using the Dee Zee heavyweight mat since a few months from buying my truck new and haven't any issues with it:

    ..and it's only like $90.

Yea, I have the bed Line-X'd but I also have the mat just for the hell of it for extra protection.

I have a Toyota bed mat on top of my spray in as well. Keeps stuff from sliding around and gives a little cushion when strapping stuff down.

Got the Dee Zee mat today. Only got a few minutes to unpack it and lay it out in the bed. First impressions, I'm impressed. Much heavier than I expected; much thicker than I expected. Fits nice. We'll see what it can take, but I'm giving it a thumbs up so far.

Wondering how this is holding up? I usually pay to bed line it but tight on cash and I use my bed quite often, this seems like a perfect thing to have, let us know your thoughts

Holding up great so far, though it hasn't really seen that much of a test yet. I've had things in the bed plenty, but not much that would really abuse that bed mat.

I'm still very happy with it though. It fits great, I think it looks good, strikes me as tough material, thicker than I expected. Definitely keeps things from sliding around too.

Yeah I have mine lined and things were always moving around so I bought the rubber mat makes a world of difference.

OEM, it's a perfect fit. Looks the best and is.

I never saw one, but the reason I stayed away from the OEM mat was people here said it has raised letters in the middle spelling out Tundra. They said they get in the way if you try to slide something in.

ETA: IIRC it was also more expensive, but I could be wrong on that.

Check out your local tack supplier for horse stall mats. Pretty much the same thing, often thicker, and way cheaper. The only difference is they won't be cut to fit around the wheel wells.

I have a universal bed mat I got from the Canadian version of Harbor Freight. It was $70 and it's a solid 1/2" thick. Works great, but the off gassing was pretty bad for the first few months.

All "rubber" mats are hard to slide anything on. They're made to try and keep things from sliding around, and protection. Both qualities have minimum success.

Dee-zee rubber mat is great, its what I have in my Double cab, reg bed length Tundra. I also had a plastic bed liner, took that piece of crap out. One reason the OP's bed mat didn't fit is the plastic bed liner shrinks the bed space by an inch or two on the sides and a little bit length ways as well. Take the plastic bed liner out and I bet that bed mat would have fit just fine.

Had a Dee Zee rubber mat in my old 2004 Tacoma as well. Gave it to my dad for his new 2016 Tacoma, wouldn't believe it, but he had to trim it a little bit to get it to fit lol, despite that being a much larger truck. Dee-zee mats are awesome stuff IMO, lot cheaper than rhino lining your bed, very durable, that one in my old truck was a little bit faded but otherwise was like new, didn't harden, crack, or wear out after 14 years.
