aaaaaannnnnndddd.............. you’re back. :D You gonna test the curfew? When I was in high school I really didn’t have a curfew. After college I moved back with my parents and they made me come home at 9pm. Lmao. That lasted about a week and I was out of there.

yeah, i did the same right after i failed out of college the first time. I spent a few weeks and when mom was waiting up the first couple times it wasn't long before i stole their change jar and got my own place

This time it's a little different. I actually have money, and other places, to go elsewhere but chose the only place i could turn off the "noise" for a bit

Your parents live on Sinclair, right? I need to check that lake out. I always go to Oconee because I was told it was a little more family friendly whereas Sinclair has a ton of jet skiers and shit like that. Sucks too because I drive just past Sinclair to go to Oconee, in fact, I launch right next to the dam at Lawrence Shoals Park

I don’t tend to agree about too many jet skis but then again I’m not on Oconee very often. I would say give it a shot. Oconee is know as the rich man’s lake round these parts

It’s a little easier for the Atlanta weekend warriors to get to

Here, but I can take a stroll towards you. Sorry I didn’t ring you up on the way. I’ve been beaten down over the past couple weeks and just needed a refuge and a couch

Yeah, there is some money on that lake...me and my boat are way out classed for sure. I did pull up to a slip at the Ritz Carlton to eat lunch one time. Parked between a $90K Mastercraft and $80K Bennington Pontoon, I then proceeded to pay $90 two burgers w/ fries, 1 pulled pork sandwich, and a bowl of Mac and cheese. That was the first and last time I did that. LOL

My parents are on the east side of Sinclair. They bought 3 acres and a house in 1995 for $50,000, had it appraised a few years ago after a hail storm and was reported back to have increased to over $425,000. Now, they’ve put quite a bit in to the home and property but their return is WAY over their initial capital.

My son fishes tournaments on Sinclair. He is currently the leader on the Berry's tournament trail.

Today was a good day. No pics of any of the process but the truck was tested with 3 tons of rock, 3 tons of sand, 3 tons of brick, and lots of sweat in humidlandia.....
Entire project took about 4 days for this old goat and my 70 year old dad. Not too shabby if I must say.
All pavers around the “patio” and fire pit are concreted in, the pit was a Lowe’s kit, and the back hoe was run by yours truly. We aren’t quite finished linking to the rest of the walkways but it’s all I’m gonna be able to do for a few weeks. I started a little “decompression” business pressure washing houses and driveways. I forgot how dirty shut gets in the south where the humidity keeps it green and black

I’m currently in Marietta with relatives but would love to meet up after a few days around here

I'd definitely like to meet up sometime soon.
I know there's a few GA guys on here that have said they would like to meet up. I was thinking we could do something like a morning meet 'tundras and coffee' type deal, a trail ride or just at a park/etc. I guess we just need to a thread and get some dates.

What do you gents have going on in the next couple of weeks or around Memorial Day weekend?
