Hola all. My new-to-me Tundra's plastic cover on the rear bumper is loose. It appears that the clips are broken. Anyone have the same situation and was able to reaffix the cover? I'm thinking gorilla glue or 2-sided automotive tape or...?

    Thanks,
    Bill

Guess I'm lost. Y'all are saying that the center rear bumper step pad has replaceable OEM clips? This part?

No, it does not. Those clips are made onto the back of that piece and clip down into the bumper. Only way to truly repair it is to get another one. You can try glue or tape, but I don't think that is a good long-term solution.

Roman, I was pretty sure they were molded in. Shame Toyota didn't use a type of replaceable fastener, but thanks for the info!

Yep, they are molded in. I have the exact same issue on of the corner pieces of the rear bumper. I tried cleaning it really good, acetoning to remove any residue, and all kinds of adhesive products. Nothing worked. I though about getting a new piece but the other 2 are faded and I think it will look stupid so the piece I have is still there and is hanging on by one clip, lol ... let me know if you try something that works!
