First time poster here! I'e lurked forever trying to gather info. I wanted to try and figure most things out on my own before asking questions. I'e read through so many post my head is still spinning but I've think I've managed to get in the ballpark. I need suggestions or conformation I'm on the right track please. I'e got a 2013 SR5 doublecab 4x4 bone stock. Im thinking toytec boss kit with uca. 18"x9" wheels +18 offset and 305/70/18 ( 34.8 ×12x18). Looking to be outside of wheel well (even or slightly outside if I install flares). I'm fine with mud flap removal and massaging the plastic but will I require any other mods to make this setup work? Any suggestions on this setup or other tire reccomendations is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Will most likely need a CMC and a little more than massaging the plastics.

Toytec Boss lift, Black Rhino Warlords wheels, 295/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, SDHQ Sliders, RBP grill, color matched surround and bulge, Kendwood head unit.
I put 295/70/18 Ridge Grapplers on with a 12 offset. I have Joonbug's old ToyTec Boss setup. I removed all the intruding fender plastic and I can barely get a sheet of paper between the rubber and body mount. I cant imagine 305's would fit without some metal getting hacked off.

Ok. So I'm assuming my problems would lie in the overall width? The 295/70/18(34.3x11.6) plus a cmc would likely give me the clearance I'm needing? The 18x9 +18 offset looks to be giving me 5.7" of backspace which from what I read several times seems to be the minimum I should be looking for. I'm fine with downsizing a little more overall tire configuration to get a comfortable fit but if I'm going to have to drop much I may as well shuck the toytec and run a bds 5" lift. What is yall' ture size suggestions to run on this wheel setup on 3/1 lift?

I’d say pick the brains of @T-Rex266 and @boardude since they both run 305/70R18’s.

Yes, you'll still want to push your fender liner in a bit more and trim down your factory skid if you have one.

Welcome. The body or cab mount chop is not expensive and barely noticeable when done right. I didn't want to do mine but now that I have I've got a little piece of mind having the extra clearance.

I appreciate the info. I'm not dead set on that size tire after reading all that I have I just used that size tire as a base line to finetune. Would it be a better fit to go with narrower tires or would doing a cmc moving around liners and trimming skid plate ( if applicable ) allow suffecient space for the 305's?

Lots of people here successfully running 35s or 305s. I have 295 and am going to 305 to protect the wheels a little better. Even with the 295s I needed a BMC. The UCAs you choose play a part. The more caster the more you need the BMC.

Go down to 305/65/18 or 295/70/18 and you’ll be good!

Ok so I'm looking a spc uca, I will do a cab mount chop and I'm looking at these wheels. Is the 18 offset what could hurt me?Screenshot_2018-04-17-13-30-12.jpg

11.6” vs 12”. But depends on the brand. Some are off by a few tenths.

Did you end up going to those 305s? Im trying to decide on which tire size to go to. I want the tallest I can get without a 37" 305/70/18 seems to be it. BMC and all that is done so not worried about rubbing anywhere.

I have 305/60r18 factory rims. Around a 2.5” lift. 2012 dc. I didn’t have to trim anything. The tire has about a 1/4” gap from the upper control arms. No rubbing at all.
