I have two of these SwingCases and BAKFlip F1. Most of time when I have to get something from the cases, I don't open the tonneau cover. When I need to prop the cases open, then the tonneau has to be opened (the space between the tonneau and the top of the cover is smaller than the width of the case cover.).

    I love these cases.

I love my swing case also. I only have one on the drivers side. I have looked for one for the pass. side but gave up thinking they didn't make one. I bought mine from Amazon. Where can I get the one for the pass. side?

Undercover has great customer service. My lock was stuck locked and I had to use a wrench to get it to twist open even when unlocked. Haven’t really used the lock initially because I only had a few straps in there. I added all the tools in there recently and started locking it.
I contacted undercover via email and received two responses from customer service right away. They offered to replace the lock free of charge under warranty. I had the new lock replacement within a week or so.

I still want to get one. I hope they are using quality locks. I love companies who stand behind their product with no b/s.

I'm still on the fence with getting one of these. Anyone have any issues with the case coming loose after wheeling? I pound the rear pretty hard (the door is open for jokes) so just wondering how durable it is and how it would hold up after a day on the trails.

So. I see these fit over a Toyota plastic bed liner with trimming. My bed has a heavy duty rubber bed mat over Line-X. What do you think, will it fit over that without trimming? If not, is there a template provided to indicate where to drill into the bedsides; can the installation location in the bedsides be modified (lifted an inch or so, and, if so, would I have to keep the bed mat in place-- to support the bottom of the cases?)

If any of you have Line-X + a rubber mat, please let me know how this has worked for you. Or, anyone else that wants to guesstimate based on your own installation, I'll appreciate it.

It doesn’t come close to the line-X nor rubber mat. I have both and there over an inch of room between the mat and the swing case. It’s more suspended by the hinge plate than anything.

I have a spray berliner with a bedrug bed mat and there is pleanty of room for the swing case. When installing the case there is a little leeway in where mount the brackets do you can position the case where you want it.

Also a bedmat and spray user, and also no issue.
I just wanted to also reply because I've been absent from the forums as of late and this was a good quick return to notify I am still alive.

I have a right side Swing Case that I would not mind parting with. It works great and is a great product but does not fit my needs. I would let it go for $90. PM me if you have interest.
    I live in MI.

I’ve had my swing cases since 2013 and have swapped from truck to truck. They are awesome and it’s nice u can pop em out when needed. I bought mine off Carid and back then with the horrible exchange(still brutal) from US to our crappy CAD I ended up paying $850CAD by the time they were shipped lol. After I’ve had em now it was worth it. Make sure to keep some wd40 or something on the latch and rod mechanism or you will have problems over time.

Know that if you have bed stabilizers you can't use the swing case unless you want to put in the work to fab it to work....

Has anyone ran 2 swing boxes? If so can you still fit a 4’ sheet of plywood between the 2? Looking to have that along with my HPI tool box for maximum storage.

    Alot of them

You should be able too since they don't stick out past the humps from what I can tell. See post 69017.... @usfdrohead just installed 2 of them. They are removable from the mounts very easily as well.
