None have been done. But the 2nd gens have the transmission cooler on the passenger side behind the grille so it is doubtful that it will fit. 2nd gen mounts/test fitment are on schedule but we do have some items in front of them.

Just curious since I have a 14 platinum. Why would it not fit a platinum? Because of the grill? What if I got the pro grill for my platinum?

Its not that it doesn't fit the platinum, it is that the platinum grille doesn't allow for enough light to pass through the grille. Swapping to a pro grille would solve that issue.

Any pics behind the 18 honeycomb grille? Just not sure if lights work behind it, and can’t find anyone that tried it.

I am a bit late to this chat. But curious if on the pictures above, does the center support bracket have a mount for the TSS sensor? I am thinking that is what I am seeing in the 2018 Limited pictures above. Looks like the sensor is there without the Toyota emblem.

Our behind the grille mounts do work with the TSS sensor. There is no relocation bracket needed.

Any issues with radiator airflow? That's a lot of closed up grill space.

Not the slightest. Not even out here in Arizona during the summer. It may look like a lot of frontage, but there is quite a gap for airflow in front of lights to go up and around, etc. We had our scanner plugged in monitoring temps and saw a difference of +/- 5 degrees over a few hours of driving and up hill climbs.

    2 questions.

    1. Would a rigid radiance fit on the too of the PRO grilll... I understand light would be less due to the size being a little slim vs the bottom but on a radiance the optics are in the middle vs the actual E series bars.. so had me thinking, OR is the E series bars just to big to fit so thats the reson for an SR..

    2. Does SDHQ have any codes with this page, or any other forums etc?

Thanks for the time to reply, first question has been in my mind for a while

The housing of the the E-Series is too large clearance wise which is why that is designed for the SR/single row series. Feel free to PM me regarding any questions or pricing.

I just got this for my 19 SR5 with an S8 white spot and S8 amber driving combo. Which would you recommend to go on the top/bottom? I was thinking the amber driving combo on the bottom and white spot on top to allow for a better light throw in each application.

    Good Morning klfrnia22,
I agree with your conclusion, the best option is to put the amber down low/lower because it will cut through dust, snow, etc.. better than a clear lens. Due to the amber also being a combo it will function better in that location. The spot being higher will minimize potential glare and other reflections than the amber will.
