Anyone have any knowledge or experience with replacing a first gen power steering fluid pump? I believe mine is going bad after 175000 miles. The fluid is dirty, looks almost like clean motor oil. And when I first start the truck and start rolling the steering wheel has more resistance than usual. The pump is also starting to make more noise than it use to. It sounds almost like a worn out water pump. Kind of has a howl to it. Any info would be appreciated. I believe its a task I can take on but don't know if there are any special tools that I need.

See attached, let me know if you need anything else. There are two sets of instructions to bleed the system, do you have Rear Wheel Anti-Lock (RWAL) brakes?

Yeah, one of them is the actual instructions and the other three are enlarged images from the instructions.
