I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra limited, that i got with only a 2” leveling kit. Here it is before i put my own touch, and i am absolutely no where near done.

Removed fender flares and mud flaps (plan on filling those holes)

And finally, my favorite part of the exterior- my front bumper. 100% custom , was going for that prerunner look with durability.

    Future Plans:
I really want to go long travel, with King shocks, camburg UCA’s, and BTFFabrication Lowers. Also would like to upgrade the sound system with possibly two 10’s. Also want to do more performance wise, and upgraded engine components. Cams?? Want a straight lightbar on the roof, a small one on the bumper, and (4) led pods total, (2) as ditch lights mounted near a-pillars, and (2) on the sides of the lightbar going on bumper. Custom bed rack also a possibility.

Are ya planning on keeping the spacers in the front? Also, as one our resident suspension experts says, Tundras don’t have struts. And those tires look taller than 30”.

I may have mispoke but i know there is a slightly larger, well looks larger, “thing” in there that lifts the truck a tiny bit. The tires are 30”, they look small because of the fender flares i think, and because they arent as meaty as other 30” tires

Here is a photo of it as it sits, i painted the frame work behind the bumper so that it looks better, i think.

E5E9BF79-4D3E-4386-BE1B-702DD5CF1EA0.jpg My friend got this picture and from this angle it looks like i have baja rims? The ones with the little chrome trims on the edge. Debating if i should peel the plasti dip off those edges that have the little holes in the following pic to give it that look, any opinions? 0F197A90-B5AE-4651-A749-5E3D1C40FC13.jpg

@zcarpenter92 upon further review, it is an above the coil spacer lift that is installed. Might get some bigger ones :curls:

If it were me, I’d save up for replacement coilovers instead. Will have a better ride, and eliminates any of the potential issues that come with spacers.

I was thinking of doing that too, but i dont really know of some good brands that arent on the expensive side. Of course i can save up but i dont want to spend over 900-1k. Know any good coilovers that fit below that range?

Well on the lower end of prices you’ve got Bilstein 5100’s, those are probably in the $500-600 range. You’ve also got the @ToyTec Lifts Boss kit in the $900 range for front coilovers, believe you’d be sitting around $1200 if you got their rear shocks as well. But you could always just add the coilovers and wait on the rears. I’ve got their 2.5 Radflo coilovers and 2.0 Boss rear shocks on my second gen, and don’t have anything bad to say about them.

    Yeah buddy. Looking good.
I’m in this same boat. I can do the Monroe Premium Coil Overs (gasps from the peanut gallery!). Rancho has some coilover leveling shocks that fit. Another option is buy new springs and new shocks and let the shop do it. I just want that cushy ride these 1st Gens are know for. Need new front coils for sure.

Today i took the fog light canisters off my stock bumper and zip tied them to my current bumper, and it came out way better than expected. I blacked them out so it doesnt look as noticeable :)

Yes sir, led headlights and fogs, both are AUXBEAM and they are amazing. Got them on Amazon for like $20-$30. They are still very very bright even though i need to restore my headlights. Cant even imagine how bright they would be if i had clear headlights.
