haha! Those days are over. It corners so good now! I just hope its not too stiff in the dirt. I'll find out in t-minus 5 hours...

The lean isn't bad once you get used to it. You can still take corners fast. But if you weigh less than me like you think, then you won't lean as much as I did. I mean, lets not forget that I weigh 8000LBS!!!

So I had a temp set of Deaver U748 leafs with about 600-700lbs and the springs held the weight good but don't think they are soft enough to cycle all the travel. I never once rubbed my rear fenders as I did with my custom K37 pack- so that tells me I still have some unused uptravel. They rode fine and handled everything well but I still need to reduce weight to be able to run softer springs and use all the travel. My problem is that my bed weight fluctuates from 200lbs to 700lbs - so i need to get more static weight to be able to dial the rear in. Hopefully I can do that with my new setup if/when it gets finished.

So if you look at the photo of me head on, you can see than the trail dips down to my passenger side. The safe route is to turn right and go down hill, make a U, and climb back up to the original trail. I decided I would try to just continue straight and deal with the off camber slope. I almost made it, but I didn't quite have enough flex and I don't have lockers yet so I cross axled and couldn't make the climb. When I tried to reverse, my nose slipped down slope and then the rear slipped and I got wedged in. I had to stare at it a while before I made a decision on the best way to extract, but a simple pull on the drivers side rear bumper turned it enough to free me so I could head downhill.

    Zero damage, just looked scary

Always a good time getting on dirt with you guys. Unfortunately, I never take very many pictures. I'm a terrible asian. And @dcsleeper408 its a Stealth by Eeziawn. Heavy AF but easy to use.

Yup. Tundra swap in the front with Icon 3.0's and Icon 2.5's with resis in the rear. I need heavier springs for the rear but I'm waiting for bumpers and drawers before I mess with ride height and weight.

    very nice!
was there anything you had to do to get the tundra fronts in? Or was it a simple bolt on?

The UCA and LCA bolt in. You need to get the Tundra axles and tie rods which also are plug and play. And I've been told that the Tundra sway bar link for the passenger side helps. I have the part but haven't installed it yet. Waiting to see how my stock LC bushing holds up. But it's pretty straight forward. Just basically replace all LC front suspension parts with Tundra parts except the knuckle.

Btw, I should be able to roll w/ you guys soon!
Will probably pick my new '18 this weekend.:bananadance::dancingbacon::broccoli:

    • Got an ADS (2.5" and rear Bypass)/Deaver (U748) setup from Matt on the group buy.
    • Have some +25 Vision wheels w K02's in the garage.
    • 1 water and 2 scepter fuel jugs.
    • And more camping sheet than I know what to do with

I'd go out to Sedona with you but i just used up all my vacation going to Ecuador/Galapagos earlier this month.
Just need to head down to SD at some point to have Papa weld up a bed rack for me!
