I’m shopping for a WD hitch. Any recommendations?
    Pros and cons?
    I have a 2018 CrewMax, pulling a 27 ft TT

There’s so many out on the market now it is just ridiculous.

Instead of bashing certain brands, I will just comment on what to look for and you can make an educated decision.

First, make sure the one you buy is able to go in reverse. Not all LDH can. So FYI.

Second, select the proper weight distribution rating.

Next, buy the right hitch. Round bar vs trunnion? I personally like trunnion.

Last, set up your hitch with the camper loaded. This may take several attempts, but it’s worth it. Some even go and use a CAT scale and fine tune the hitch.

Careful on some hitches, I had one that had recall after recall and I finally just purchased another brand. It was a name brand hitch.

Some of the ones I would look into are:
    Equal-I-zer
    Blue ox
    Curt
    E2

I currently run the E2 and wore out my Equil-i-zer hitch after many years of good service.

    Hope that helps a little.
