Hello I go by Q. I bought a 2013 Toyota Tundra Crewmax 4x4 and I am really happy with it. I bought it in McKinney Texas, where I have my home. I could not afford the 2015 or '16 models with all that you can add onto the Crewmax line. Haha. This is my first Truck and looking for other like minds to tell me what they do like and mods to do to the truck. I am currently living in Ketchikan Alaska and really nowhere to travel. haha. This is also my first time to the westcoast or Alaska

Thank you all for the reply back. I appreciate it. I am thinking of upgrading to a newer Tundra but I really like the muscle build of the 2013. I think the 2014 interior is nicer and modernized. IDK it is so much to do to the Truck. I bought this truck at a discount it had high miles on it. almost 88k. I wish it didn't have that many mile but living in the DFW the prior owner had a hell of a commute. But living in Ketchikan I did't think I would put many more mile on it. I have been right about that. I put maybe 15 since last summer. Alaska has been fun but the winter has shut me down from travel. hahaha. I am in the warmest area until summer.
I am looking to jazz up the interior with tech and lighting. Has anyone wanted to upgrade from a older to a new Tundra or you all are first time owners?

#8 matluth-- Gold Pan has some okay pizza. Not a lot of roads but i intended to ferry around and camp.

#11 zcarpenter92-- I am out here for work. i work for the FAA. I was a Air Traffic Controller and got burnt out a few years ago. I work on the Aviation system on the airports and the NAS.

How about overnight/weekend kayak treks? Fishing ought to be decent right about now. I was only in Ketchikan once and we ate at the Gold Pan. Pizza and beer is always good.haha..

Its been a vibrant winter and I think it will be heating up this week to begin doing those things. Fishing is very good but there are so many rules for the streams and creeks. I do not have a boat. the ocean makes little boats look way to small. I am not sure if I want to get into all of that.
