Got my wheels last week. Waiting on tires to be delivered. Can’t wait to see these bad boys on my wife’s Sequoia. After the 3/2 level lift next week.

It’s no Tundra but I had to post a couple of pics. Just had the Readylift, SR8’s and Nittos RG’s installed on the wife’s TRD Sport Sequoia. Going to have the front windows tinted tomorrow. Now it has the aggressive stance we were looking for.50855FD1-6EA3-4AF3-86EA-09DE194043DF.jpg9982EB97-E116-4796-9371-E9838CF876FE.jpg

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
I contacted the vendor, couldn't get a timely response, as they only do e mails. You cant go to the warehouse to view the wheels without a formal invitation. with several e mails back and forth, I'm going with Fuel Trophy wheels. Vin's response to a few simple questions that I asked and then he say they are out of stock I day I want to order.

    Terry,

I'm sorry that you feel that way, but it sounds like you're better off purchasing wheels from a different company. You're absolutely right, it is our loss. I'm sure another business will appreciate your hard earned money better.

    Good luck to you!

    Thanks

    Vin

I’ve always had a great experience with Vin and with SCS. Love my wheels. Sucks that you didn’t get a good experience.

Care to share your contact email, and what it is you were asking for.

I know right where VINs "shop" is, and I can tell you this. The reason why they do the buys they do, and how they do it, is because they have VERY LITTLE, and I mean LITTLE space to house any of these rims, let alone provide a store front. Your best bet is google image search and forums to find something close to what you like. I do however promise this: throughout the sale and after the sale, Vin will surely take good care of you. Not to mention you will love the wheels!

I picked up my wheels from Vin's warehouse and the current space is very small. Vin did say that they are in the process of building out a new space that is a lot larger and once this is done they will be able to stock more.

@itsdchz said it very well. I been there to pick up my wheels and I understand why. Vin has been very easy to deal with and very accommodating. Best place to see different wheels and mods are to go to a meet & greet or offroad outing. There shoudl be more as the weather gets better.

    @itsdchz ,
Buds, I asked if i could call him, the first time I contacted him on e mail. The purpose was to ask a few questions on off-set and when I could see the wheels in person as I wanted to buy. I was told by Vin that he didn't take phone calls as it was not a efficient way of his time and he had better things to do than take phone calls. The reason of the call in my mind was to purchase that day, after I got the information I was looking for.

Ever buy something without looking into it first, may not be the right part, then your trying to return it. I didn't want that issue. I made that mistake before.

I mentioned I was 45 minutes to oak town, ( first email to him) wanted to see the wheels in person after seeing the reviews On line. By the third e mail from Vin, he said I needed a formal invite to see the wheels, Monday - Friday 10 to 5 only. Oh ok would have been nice to know that in the first response back email. I also had a question of could I get a black center caps on the Matt gunmetal , he said he might ..have them in the back.

After 3 emails exchange (24 hour response time on each) over a 4 day time line, and finialy getting a note back saying he's out of stock, I was bummed out. I'm sorry.

I may be a impulsive buyer, I like things a little different than main stream. A simple phone call for a quick sale is all I was asking for. Buds, Life is short, as it is. I've been on the quest to gather parts for my Tundra, now sense I bought it. I reciantly bought a Radflo 3/1 total lift, Total chaos UCAs (did that at Toytec over the phone, may have taken 10 minutes time line) no big deal, right.

I wanted to order wheels , not have endless e mails which was happening.
Most, if not all my truck, car parts purchases have been over the phone, or going to the store front. And gather info while on the phone so I don't make mistakes that cost more money. Sorry I'm just that way. Vins response, is the last note to me which is what I posted.

Yes I did say apperantly" my money wasn't good enough." All I wanted to do was buy wheels .Never had that sort of experiance before with any sales person or web site. Usually they want to make a sale to put money in their pockets.

I'm not angry, I just didn't have a great experiance on line with Vin. Not everything in life is perfect, Hell, God knows I'm not.

I bought Fuel Trophy wheels. 20 X 9 with the back spacing I was looking for from Americas tire the very next day as a package deal. The reason I posted that response is to see if anyone else had issues. I'm under the impression this blog is for trading information. Good or bad as it may be.
Regards to all you buds. Ter.

Not sure why I am posting this but I am not happy with my SCS wheels. I can never take a good picture of them. They look GREAT on my truck but never look good in my photos. Vin took good care of me when I purchased mine.

Thank you for posting. Seems reasonable for you to feel the way you do, and you have a good point, that I am sure anyone in business, and as a consumer can agree with, and relate to. Glad you got some wheels, and have moved on. I think Vin will surely take this transaction as a learning opportunity.

Decrease shadows within the edit feature of your photos app on your phone. When you edit each photo, experiment with moving shadows down, allowing more soft light to take over. That should be enough to bring the highlights out.

And details of black wheels don't show up as well in pictures due to the shading. That shouldn't mean you are unhappy with the wheels, just unhappy about how they show up in pics. :)

I haven't seen a black wheel yet that I can distinguish the details in a picture. To me, all black wheels look the same at 20 feet away.

I have trouble capturing he bronze in mine too. Just gotta play with the lighting, contrast, shadow. These are the best I could capture.
