Thank you very much....it needed those wheels so much. Now who wants a set of the OEM? Can't seem to give them away.

    Whoa... negative lift.

If you are ever near Athens, I would like to photograph your truck next to mine and capture the two extremes together.

So with that frame and wheelbase Toyota could make an crewmax with a 6.5 to 7' bed. Wouldn't fit in my garage but it sure would be nice as an option.

Hey...I'm in Athens all the time... headed there Tues. PM me and we can meet up somewhere.

    Thanks bud...
Some guys are crazy enough to do a CrewMax with a long bed conversion

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
I'll definitely keep a lookout for you. My girlfriend lives in the Hamilton Mill area.
I've not been out to a C&O event yet. Need to tho.
I've been thinking after the pollen a the weather normalizes a bit, we may need to try a meet for the GA owners. I think there's several on here now.

I really like how it looks now. So how does the rear trd sway bar feel? Where did you get your steps? I may need to look at these if SDHQ can’t help me out. Their sliders do not fit the long bed.

Sounds good! C&O is a gear head, car nut, bike freak sensory overload. Around 3000 rides show up and you never know what you'll see. Headed there tomorrow.

Noticed the TRD upgrade immediately. Feels great and worth every penny. It had a little hop before... almost all of that gone now.

Steps come from Luverne. Hard to find a wheel to wheel step for this model. I would have rather had a heavy duty slider set, but this ride probably won't do much rock crawling. Here are some choices

    Thanks!

Thanks. I appreciate the link. I really wanted the SDHQ sliders to fit. I feel the long bed and rear sway bar combo gives the truck a lot more stability. Turn radius sucks tho lol.

Yeah, I called several vendors... Demello, Toytec, White Knuckle, CBI, SDHQ, RCI.... and others. Luvern seems to be one of the only that make a slider that is almost 10' long

I wasn't aware that Luverne made sliders. I know Luverne makes wheel to wheel steps for most trucks. Actually pretty decent stuff.

:threadjacked: That’s a nice looking neighborhood. Big yards and mature trees. Something like that would go for 800,000 + depending on the house.
Is the housing still affordable down there?

    I see you lookin...
5.7 4x4 SR DCLB was under $37k... then these upgrades
Gotta get my terms right. This is a 10' wheel to wheel step, not a true rock slider. Still seems study and gives me a step up into that bed.
Hey thanks... We've been in our 'hood for 15+ years and it's grown crazy around us. Tough to find lots with any space around houses now. Everything's going up in price but still a steal compared to so many other cities around the country. Good roads & schools, variety of restaurants and plenty of entertainment choices makes this area a solid choice.
