Body shop had my truck for a month. Repaired great. But left me with this big scratch on steering wheel. Should I just live with it or make them replace it? Or any ideas to make it disappear? Peace. D

Personally, I'm OCD with that so they would be correcting it.

I would have them correct it also, and I'm not OCD. It's taking care of the customer.

Well looks like there goes their profit margin. I think those are pretty expensive wheels. Unless you could somehow live with a custom leather wrap installed over it that they would pay to have installed. Maybe throw some custom embroidery in LOL

Wouldn't it be harder to prove they did it since you have kept it for 2 weeks??

That would bug me. Waiting two weeks might complicate the issue.

I know. I should have had them make note of scratch right away. I was just trying to be Kool and not be so picky. Of course it is top center and I can’t keep my eyes off it. Peace. D

I get it. Good on you for trying to be cool. Now days I really try to be polite and address this type of thing in a calm manner but I’ve come to realize we are just a number and at the end of the day you will be forgotten as just another customer. With that in mind I demand that I get what I have paid for and nothing less. That’s your truck and your hard earned money. It went in without a scratch and should be delivered without a scratch.
Good luck! I would show that to them and explain that it’s unacceptable to you.
