I was thinking about going full monty on wiring up some under hood lights , but after I found these, I figured WTF. I can keep these in my side pocket thingys or glove box and use them when I need them.

Thanks. I did see those but I was thinking 27 LEDs would drain the batteries in no time. Also wasn't clear how strong the magnets were.

I have like 6 or 7 of those from H Freight along with a dozen or more 25ft freebie tape measures. heh heh. I like the size of the little leds that I got yesterday. Easy to attach anywhere and easy to store without taking up much space. And remember, they come with lithium batteries. Basically $2.50 a piece. I'll pick up some more so you can see the blister-pack.

I took my son to see Sammy Hagar at Universal Studio a few years back. He just told me that he's returning the favor 15yrs later. He bought two tickets for Sept 5, RedRocks; Sammy Hagar and the Circle= Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham, Vic Johnson. Hell yea.

Went to Walmart. None left. zip. Must have been over a dozen left on the rack Sunday. Tried to find a pic online. zip again. They are called "WorkChoice" 2 mini led work lights. Apparently I wasn't the only one who thought they were pretty cool.

Apparently here , in the Aurora/Denver metro area, climate change, cooling , warming, hit today. Actually will hit the upper 60's /lower 70's next week. In celebration of that I revisited my 30 ft sling strap that I got from Wheelers Off Road a few months back. The sling straps are USA custom made for Wheelers (Grants Pass, Oregon ) The best quality. I talked with Dan at Wheelers. He was nice enough to offer a 5% Tundras.com discount on this particular sling strap. (It's a start): Pics I took today:

It's actually a good deal before the 5% discount. If you place an order, just reference Tundras.com. (per Dan) You don't have to reference me (Matt) , but it wouldn't hurt. Maybe I can arrange more discounts.

Thanks for Checking Matt. Based on your description I did find a picture of the packaging, ironically on another forum (Harley). Still haven't found a source, but getting closer.

It's definitely a Walmart product. The back of the blister says WalMart.com. Put that pic on your cell and go see your local Wally mart manager.

These Recovery Straps also include a Cordura Slider to provide extra abrasion resistance for times when you may need to pull against a Rock or Tree.

Welcome from Aurora,CO!! Glad to see you here Dan. I hope we can get more Oregon Tundra owners here. Pretty sure you know a few. I've lived in a lot of different places in my life, but still consider myself an Oregonian. Go DUCKs!! and Rogue River cheese!!! (Central Point)

Finally got around to replacing my rear diff gear oil. Mobile-1. Good news is that there was only slight dis-coloration and only a few small tiny bits of metal on the magnetic drain plug. Not bad for 64419 miles/9 years. Next will be transfer case and front diff this weekend. After that, a trip to @LOTSOFTOYS dealer for the auto tranny.

Met Sean today at ToyTec to pick my "new to me" FN BFD's that came off of the ToyTec Tundra. I really like these rims. Some of you may hate them, some of you may love them like me. These rims have been out for a couple years or so. There are only two versions. The 18X9, +12 offset for the Tundra, and a zero offset version for the Taco/4Runner. These rims are made using the "constant pressure cast" method with virgin aluminum, (minimal porosity, pretty much zero impurities = super high strength) vs the usual gravity cast/recycled aluminum rims. They also meet voluntary SEMA and Japan VIA specs. The highest safety standard to achieve in wheel manufacturing. (note: A lot of rims meet these voluntary safety standards. A lot of rims don't. Make sure the ones you get meet these standards.) I got an offer I could not refuse. I can now afford to buy a set of Cooper STT M/Ts. I saw them up close today on the ToyTec Tundra (with some new very cool KMC XD rims). Very BAD ASS tires. Probably not good if you drive a long ways to work everyday. Very aggressive tread. Very sick....!!!

I have plenty of tread left on my Nitto's. Gives me time to save up for the STT's. The Nitto Grap M/T's don't actually suck either. Still need to get the @Relentless cab mount chop plate mod done. (I have the plates, need to contact Insain Fab pretty soon to do the dirty work) 35" STT's won't be cheap.

Well.. I ordered a set of black matte lug nuts from Amazon before I hit the rack last night. Got up this morning and said "screw it". Got the rims on. No need to mention why I have evil chrome lug nuts. Lets pretend I have the black lugs. One thing I will mention, actually more than one, my XD's had very little lead used to balance my Nitto Grap M/T's. The new FN's also required very little lead to balance my Nitto M/T's. I noticed the FN's had a ton of lead on each wheel before the swap out, which indicates that the STT Pro's that were on them weren't exactly easy to balance. Not a game changer at all, but curious as to how well the STT's maintain balance over time. Clearly , Nitto's quality control is superior. Well balanced tires from the git go. Just thought I'd mention that. The FN's are way lighter than the XD's. (Constant pressure casting does make a difference) By the way, I'm going to post my XD's on Denver Craig's for $450. I anybody here in CO wants them, I'll do my own Tundras.com discount= $ 400. I may actually drive a ways to meet. They cleaned up real good. Did the soap & water thing at first=crap, the did the Barrett Jackson wheel cleaner thing= slightly better than crap. I then went the Home Improvement Binford 5000 route and used PB Blaster. It worked wonders in removing 2 years of brake dust build up. Also worked wonders on plasti- dip. NOT!!!! heh heh. Anyways here are some pics (Oh, the FN +12 offset, 5.47 back spacing combo gave me almost a 1/2" wider stance) :

Woke up this morning and had 8 different inquires for the rims on text/voice. Probably should have asked for more $. Anyways, one of the inquires was from CO Springs. The person wanted to know if my "5" (emphasis on 5 bolt) X150mm would fit on a 6 bolt. Also said that I was mistaken because there is no 3rd Gen Tundra. No such Beast. Hmmmmmmmm........:ohsnap:

Edit: I need to give that guy a break. I had to go back an edit my Craig's post to indicate 5X 150mm. I only mentioned what years they would fit, but not everybody is as well informed as we are here. Another good reason to sign up :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks. Yeah , your non existent 3rd gen is pretty rare apparently. Sold the XD rims. I've got a guy coming over in 20 minutes. Naturally I will politely ask him to sign on to T.com

"Jason" just picked up the rims. He is aware of Tundras.com. Told him that he needs to sign up. Rare white DC SR5 non-existent 3rd gen version. :D
