Nice. I think I got some width measurements on them from you months ago, thanks!
I'm using the ********* door speaker install video as a how to for removal of the door panel. I hate doing anything with plastic clips when it isn't warm, too much risk for breaking things. Can't wait to get them on though.

Unfortunately you don't have access to a heated shop/ garage. That is my next big mod as soon as frost leaves

I'm due for my 5k service.
    What do they do exactly?
A buddy told me they don't change the oil?!?!?

Nope no oil change. Standard check and I think a tire rotation.

If you have a flex fuel, they will change the oil. Flex Fuels get the oil changed every 5K. If not, they will inspect and rotate the tires.

I was told by my dealer that oil changes are only required every 10 k but if I come in at 5 k intervals I am eligible to get a gas card. I must be lucky. :)

I'm guessing because they use synthetic oil the can push it a bit.

He told me that it was in part the synthetic oil and the proven track record of the engine.

I've assembled a dozen or so engines in my time. The first oil change was always the most important. Getting all the bits out of the oil that get inside an open engine.
I'm thinking I might just replace my filter before I go in and let them top off the oil.

I have also changed my oil @ 5000 kms. This truck will be no exception. Just my own peace of mind.

I installed a CRUX AVTI-01 radio harness to do bypass of the GPS and add a Video IN.

AND SCRATCHED THE SHIT OUT OF MY SILVER DASH. big old black scratch as I was sliding the head unit back in. Shit. Any recommendations for repair? Do those side pieces come out for repainting?

Post some pics. Some guys have plasti dipped those dash pieces. May take a light sanding depending on how deep.

I had found a limited grille that was cheap and sanded, primed and painted the grille and hood cowl in white to match the truck. While washing my truck this morning, large pieces of paint started to flake off. I had thought I had done a decent job for a amateur. I guess it is time to try again or maybe pay a professional.

Besides paint, you can wrap it with vinyl if you have the patience, or dip it if you are OK with a matte white finish.

It is a Toyota hood protector that I bought from the dealer shortly after I picked up the truck. I think the part number is PT4270C080. Fits perfectly and install was easy.

I might try wrapping it with vinyl. I am off till monday and am looking to see if I can find enough white. I also might try something different. My wife thinks I am crazy for changing a brand new truck, but is okay when I get her Jeep mods.;)
