I love this product for my boat. I don’t really know why...maybe the spray application or the time it takes to do a quick wax. It’s super easy and my blue hulled boat shines up in 30-45 minutes.

I’m interested in using it or something very similar to it on my truck.

It says I can use it on painted surfaces, but I am hesitant to use a marine product on my truck. I don’t have any factual reason to be hesitant, I just imagine there may be differences in formulas for gel coat vs clear coat. Has anyone tried this? Do I have any cause for concern?

Does anyone have recommendations of similar products formulated for cars/trucks?

Meguiars spray wax (maroon bottle). Easiest most effective wax ever. $4.99 or 5.99 / bottle at Walmart.

You can spray it on your plastic and it won’t turn chalky, heck you can even use it on your windshield like rainX.

To be honest I haven’t had a vehicle I care about keeping clean and shiny in about 10 years, so I’m just getting back in to it. I’ve only cared about my boats which is why I’m more familiar with those products. I am looking at this area and it’s sticky posts to make a routine for my truck.

Looks like car products are less than half of the price of marine so experimentation won’t be so costly. :D

Mine was hard to find. They were selling them before they got to the dealer around here. When you try to make a deal on a truck that isn’t sitting on someone’s lot, it’s a lot harder to get them to budge on price.

I love the color though! Going to start to get rid of the chrome, but I’m trying to hold out to see if there are any new grills in 2019.
