Turned out really good. Kept it simple with a honey, brown sugar and maple syrup glaze. Thank goodness there will be left overs since it was only three of us eating

Happy easter to all. But I ain’t cooking nothing. Hispanics don’t celebrate Easter. At least I never have.

Leg of lamb and baked ziti. I will be up at 6am to put a pot of gravy on with hot sausage and country pork ribs.

For those not of Italian decent gravy is thick and red

OK, I have to ask, what is Amanda ham? I looked on the Google and found this. It does look good.

Smoking up some spare ribs in the morning. Two racks - one with my spicy sauce, and one with a sauce that my daughter and I just finished cooking up. It is pretty sweet, but she likes it (she doesn't like all the spicy stuff the rest of the family enjoys).

Gotta disagree. I've been Hispanic my whole life and we celebrate Easter every year. Doing ham and carne asada.

We always do a ham and lots of eggs and potatoes for our Easter brunch, but the star of the show is the scotch eggs. Just finished prepping them for tomorrow!

She put up one hell if a fight to getting on the smoker.
    I fat fingered that one....https://www.amanameatshop.com/product/amana-bone-in-ham/precooked-hams
They are super expensive online. I got one for like 25 bucks. It pays living 10 miles away I guess.

Just like Hispanics celebrate thanksgiving? You (we) celebrate certain things cause of where we live. When I lived in Mexico Easter wasn’t celebrated. We want to church and had dinner as a family as we did each Sunday. It wasn’t a celebration like Christmas per se. At least it wasn’t for anyone I knew.
