That's why I bit the bullet and just went OEM for both headlights and fogs. Love the new light output and the color matches nicely of course.

These won’t be as good as a dedicated aftermarket fog housing for proper light dispersion but you can’t beat the price, and cosmetically they are pretty close at 6000K to 2018 LED headlights. Theoretical 80W, actual=8W so much less than stock 35W in terms of heat risk. I’ve had them in for the better part of the year, require no mods to install, just exchange the bulb, same fitting. We’ve only had a couple of foggy days since last summer, your area may require better fog lights, ymmv.

Thanks! Yes, she's a Platinum and I changed out grille to the Pro, the shocks are TRD Pro shocks (leveled the way a Pro is), the wheels are TRD and have color matched mirror caps and door handles.

That’s a nice price but I’m my case if just changing the bulb I will take this any time over aftermarket bulbs

Installing these on a 2015 SR5 here shortly - is there anything else required besides the Ihack harness, the 2018 Headlights, and the motocontrol?

Do I need any electrical tools? 12v Light? Quick Splice?
I watched the videos and taping into the main power source scares me a bit.
I’d rather swap an axle than deal with electrical.

You'll need a bolt+nut to attach the Motocontrol somewhere if not attaching to the battery side, and plastic ties to clean up the wires.

No electrical tools, it's all plug and play, attaching grounds to existing bolts. Only the driver's side main headlight plug is plugged into the OP's bulb input prong. There is no prong on the passenger side, and the main headlight plug there from the truck is left naked (tape it up).

It's all pretty straightforward, positive to positive battery terminal. And removing the right 10A fuse (pictured), plug in the fuse tap where it was, replace the fuse box cover.

You don't need a light working in the day. And aim your new headlights before putting it all back together. If you forget or need to make fine adjustments, you can still do it afterward through the funnel.

Perfect! I do have zip ties. The fuse tap was already under there? Okay cool!
I just popped on a new color matched bulge and I’m taking the grill off now to start on the lights. Thank you!

Ya, it's basically remove fuse, put in fuse (tap).

I'm not sure which video you're watching but I used painter's tape to avoid scratching anything. And large towels to rest the headlights.

All those black rivets, pop up the centre with a screwdriver and they'll slide out.

Is running the headlight plugs down lower okay or will I run out of wire? I plan on a aftermarket front bumper install soon so I don’t want to run against the bumper. Doesn’t look like much wire is left at each headlight though.

Not sure, maybe complete all the connections and make sure everything works before the cable management. My wires are behind my LED bar, you can see where I tied it to the center column. Excited for you, the headlights are my #1 favorite mod.

I gave it enough wire to route the wires under that lower plate or you can run the wires above the horns area

All like he said except for this part this is not required in any of my harnesses

“imho, the hardest part is the truck's signal harness, pulling out the purple wire/pin, and putting the black/white wire into where purple was without wrecking anything. A tiny flatheadscrewdriver is helpful to move the clip so the pins pull out.”

For this part I use this:

Everything under the hood is Plug N Play with my harness

I’m just finishing up the Motocontrol install then off to an Easter egg hunt for the kids. I’ll be back at it in 4hrs or so.
