    Just starting
I spoke with the parts department at my local Toyota and he said that the 2019 Pro grill will ONLY fit the Pro models, Toyota made it different.

Don’t really trust parts departments. I’ll believe it when I see it.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t fit since the body has not changed, I think it has been discussed here before, and never trust parts dept, 99.99% of the time they’re clueless.

Hmmm... agree that they don't typically know more than the collective knowledge of the forum.

I sure hope they're wrong. Was looking forward to this upgrade.

My experience with most parts departments is that if the part you are after doesn't come up associated to your VIN their answer is it doesn't fit. In a way they are correct sometimes because they don't take into consideration that we as gearheads don't mind to make minor modifications to make things work.

Why would they do that? That would mean less grills sold, less $$$$ made. Doesn't make sense.

It makes sense form their point of view. If they order parts for you that almost implies that they will fit your truck. If they order something for the average Joe (not mechanically inclined) and it doesn't it they have to refund it and are out of the shipping charge and then just have a part lying around which in many cases nobody ever wants.

Do I fit into the 0.01% that do know what they're talking about? :D

I HIGHLY doubt it will only fit the TRD Pro. I don't think Toyota is going to change mounting points on one truck. They didn't with the last Pro, and they're probably not going to with this one. I would answer with a hard "No", but I never go 100% on anything unless I have tested something myself or have seen it done.

once you open the box and break the seal, you can't return it

I agree it should fit, or you can make it fit, the hoods and headlights are interchangeable. So the grille must be.
