    I was wondering if purchasing the TRD cold air intake would be worth the money? Or should I just stick with the stock? Anyone have any input or pictures? Thanks.

    IMO the TRD CAI is all about bling and a reusable filter. I found a deal on one and bought it but it's just under the hood bling.

    Welcome to the forum from CA. Do a quick search of the forum and you’ll find quite a few threads on it. Performance wise we already have a cai. The trd is pretty so if that’s what you want, go for it. It makes more noise which can be cool. You can get a similar effect with a drop in filter and air flow accelerator.

    It’s always hard to tell someone not to buy something for their truck. If they’re looking for huge gains they will most likely be disappointed unless they like sugar pills. But I’m not one to talk, throwing money at mods that are wanted. I did them on for me not anybody else. It’s part of our sickness LMFAO I tend to make it rain on my truck.

    I got my TRD intake for the sound (even though I saw some positive result) and I like it. I certainly did not buy it for bling. Not too many people get to see the engine bay of my truck. It just does not break down, haha.

    Yes, all the mods we do are strictly for functions. We improve the performance of the truck and its mpg by color-matching bumpers, getting a new grille, getting a larger lift, and get big a$$ tires. :D
